The NFL Network gave us a C, the Jets a B, and the Pats and Bills an A.

Yeah, I was just about to mention that. Mike Lombardi was the buffoon handing out those grades. Just when I thought he couldn't get any more dumb. He also gave Philly the lowest grade in their division. The Redskins got RGIII for 3 1st-rounders and then picked up another qb in round 2 and they get a better grade than Philly? He's retarded.

Oh, and Lombardi just gave the Vikes the lowest grade in their division (a B, tied with Detroit). I know these grades are all subjective, but are we all watching the same draft as Lombardi?

Charles Davis of NFLN praised the draft, especially the pick of the Oregon LB, without giving a specific grade as did Lombardi. I agree with those that say this draft feels different. I think there is a huge confidence because the Dolphins finally have a coach who is articulate and has a vision and a staff that is capable of developing and utilizing their talent. With the stench of Parcells and Sparano finally gone, I hope that Ross is proved correct in maintaining his confidence in Ireland.

Also Im laughing so hard at that grade of A for the Patriots. Are you SERIOUS? They all buy into the Bill Belichick hype. He got AWFUL value outside of the 1st round. That's it. They picked a 2nd round CB in the 7th... but he's going to jail most likely. Yes wow Billy great job!

They may not have taken the players we wanted but they did address our needs. Something feels differant this year. Maybe the new coach. Maybe Ireland has finally figured it out post Parcells. Seems like they have a plan and are doing what it takes to win. i know i'm a homer and always support the team but it feels differant to me this year.

For the 5th year in a row the Pats took a defensive back in the second round or higher. 3 of the others have been busts and Devin McCourty couldnt follow up on his good rookie year. Icing on the cake is the Pats took a safety that wasnt even on most boards.

And yet, thats A worthy? At what point can we dub them the Lions of drafting corners? Matt Millen is still brought up as a snide joke, yet the Pats follow his habits and they are praised.

Without bias, i can say with complete honesty that we had a better draft than the Pats. They had a great first round, but then fell back into old habits.

Someone needs to key these talking heads into the fact that New England has not had a A draft in several years. BB is not the drafting guru everyone leads on. If it were not for the Brady swing in the dark he may not be the God all think he is.
