The Pats, with Vic Carruci saying that Brady will get rid of the ball quickly and precisely to avoid being sacked and that he can still throw the ball deep, giving them an early lead against our secondary.

He also says Ricky and Ronnie will score us some points, but if we're behind (which we'll inevitably be) and we give it to Gus and his terrible, awful, no good very bad arm, we lose.

Heres the last thing he said:

"If this game comes down to Brady vs. Frerotte, I'll go with … do I really need to finish the sentence? "

Thats why our team is no good. Everyone in the world believes that and its not just with Brady. I could hear the same sentence having brady replaced with fiedler at this point. I want to believe we can win this, our defenses are both great, our offenses have their high points and low points, and we both have great coaches. but its going to come down to a battle between our team leaders. And if thats the case, chalk it up to 3-6.

no body said brady was a "bad" qb....hell i would take him over everything we have...but the problem with him is he is everyday being considered a top 5 QB and HE IS NOT...top 10 is a stretch but he is not a top 5 at all, i would even pu Eli over him at this point

haha ur crazy the only qb i would rather have on my team is peyton manning. he is a top2 qb.

brady isnt amazing, but he continuously gets the job done and doesnt make mistakes. i cant wait till we can say the same about a qb we have. im getting sick of this...sack up and draft lienart!

Come January, he is better than any qb in the league. That is when it really counts.

but frerotte is a bottom 2. so you would ONLY take a top 2 QB, not any guy between 3 and 30?

As much as I hate to say it, Brady is an outstanding QB. If I had to choose the top 5 Qbs, Brady would undoubtedly be on the list. He does not have the biggest arm, although he can make all of the throws, he stands tall in the pocket, and last but not least, he makes the plays when it matters.

The thing I have noticed, is when he is constantly under pressure (hurries, hits, sacks), he tends to make errant throws. Of course, most QBs have trouble when under pressure for an entire game. If Miami can get the pass rush going early (remember the game a few years ago when JT had two sacks within 3 downs on their very first possession?), Brady and the Pats are beatable. Of course, in today's NFL, any team is beatable.

Things that Miami needs:

1. Hit Brady hard and early. He rattles pretty quickly if this happens.
2. Win the up-front battle from both sides of the ball. The O-line has to open up good running lanes for R&R. The defense: see number 1.
3. Expose the weak secondary of the Pats. I would like to see McMike have a big game up the middle. Play-action passing will benefit the Dolphins if:
4. They establish the running game early. Miami's strongpoints are limited, but the running department is not one of them.
5. The defense needs to stop LONG DRIVES. Though a good sign, I am tired of the defense playing catch-up at the end of games.

It could be "If this game comes down to Leaf vs. Frerotte, I'll go with … do I really need to finish the sentence? "

gus is to QB what Howard is to CB, but even worse

What? Eli Manning has a completion % a little over 50%, and Tom Brady is a first ballot hall of fame Qb. Tom Brady is considered by many a top 10 Qb of all time, and it would not be ridiculous to put him in the top 5. I would take Brady over any Qb in the league including the Manning's, the guy just wins, and is th best when the games mean the most.

Couldn't have said it better, we win on the backs of Ronnie and Ricky with just a FEW good throws by Gus!

I am not going to get in this right now -- but if you don't put Brady in your top 3, you don't know squat about football.
