NFL.Com says we are in second...The Colts are working the plan

Ryan Leaf would like to have a word with you...

There was only one Manning in that 1998 draft, just like there is only one Luck...

Albeit they were drafted in different seasons but just how many SBs Manning got anyway? And how many SBs does Rothlesberger have?

I would rather have the guy with more SBs on my team - just saying

It boggles my mind that the OP took that comment from the power rankings seriously and conjured up the title to this thread.

Did you ever notice the person who wrote the article for NFL.com, never played the game?

I'd much rather hear from the guys who actually coached/played in the NFL. They'd certainly tell you how bogus of a claim to "working the plan" really is.

And of course you know that because YOU played the game.......

:rolleyes2:

Why shoot the messenger? Just saw it...thought my fellow Fin fans might enjoy discussing on here (apparently right...over 1400 views & 30 post)
Glad I could boggle your mind though...Thats what a good Op shoots for...Mind boggling ability & good conjuring:hclap:

Just for everyone's information the rumor is that the Colts have put Reggie Wayne and Robert Mathis on the trading block...they're working the plan alright.

I'll be really happy with Barkley or Luck. I prefer Luck, but I would rate Barkley as much better than any QB prospect from the 2011 draft other than Can Newton, but I LOVED Newton. I liked Newton as much as I like Luck.

Colts are a very smart and well run organization under GM Bill Polian . He "gets it".

Meanwhile the stupid Miami Dolphins will probably trade "FOR" those guys just to end up 6-10 this year, and suck for the next 10 years... while the Colts thrive and flourish with yet another Top-Notch Franchise QB to lead them over the next 10++ years.

Right on ... I would not be suprised to see Wayne in Aqua/Orange at all. For all the doubters in the Colts ability to tank...more evidence of a sprint to 0-16 & Luck.

I think it's obvious how bad the Colts are without Manning...The guy is the most valuable player in the league and it's showing while Brady went out and they reloaded with Cassell and still win ball games...

Marino never won a Superbowl, does that mean you wouldn't want him again?

If we lose the Luck sweepstakes it will be disappointing but not the end of the world. I want Luck as much as the next guy but I'd be pretty excited with either Barkley or Jones. Still not sure who I'd rather have but between those 2 but it will make for an interesting debate if we are in the 2-3 range and have to pick between those 2 guys. What worries me most is the disaster scenario where we don't get any of those guys and instead go bargain-bin hunting in the 2nd-3rd rounds again. I've seen that movie before and I don't want to see it again.

BTW, Landry Jones plays tomorrow at 9:15 and Luck plays at 7:30. There's also the Okla ST vs Texas game which should be pretty good. I think this may be the first season in a very very long time that I find Saturday football more exciting than Sunday/Monday football. Sort of sad.
