NFL.com slights Chambers....

check this out... I don't know who did the article, but NFL.com had a list of the stat-leading players at their positions that have not yet been to a probowl.... for WR in the AFC they have wayne and branch listed, but no Chambers.... nevermind the fact Chambers has more catches, yards, and TDs than those guys....

can you believe such an obvious oversight? i mean, i expect this coming from Prisco (see below), but not NFL.com!

WR: Starters: Chad Johnson, Bengals; Marvin Harrison, Colts. Reserves: Reggie Wayne, Colts; Hines Ward, Steelers.
Comment: Johnson and Harrison were easy choices. Wayne deserves to finally get a trip to Hawaii, while Ward has again been the Steelers' go-to guy and has 10 touchdown catches.

Chambers has more yards and TDs than Wayne, and more catches and yards than Ward.

but, i guess Chambers doesn't deserve a trip?

good job prisco.... all this while also slighting Zach Thomas for the ILB spot, putting... of all people... Al Wilson as a reserve?

If Chambers lights up the Jets, I have to wonder if he WILL make the probowl.

Don't worry about those jerks, be thrilled that this team is starting to take form in only it's first year under Saban.

i dont think a player with that many drops and non-complete passes deserves the pro-bowl. I certainly wouldn't vote for him...

If Chambers doesn't get voted in by the fans, he's not going. Players and coaches see the drops and the early season inconsistency as much as the fans did.

If Chambers truly want to silence his critics, he must become more consistant with less drops!

He could be at top of that class without many of the dropped balls.

Maybe getting slighted for the pro bowl this year will put a fire under Chambers' butt and encourage him to not fall asleep for the first ten games next season.

I have to wonder what will make you guys happy. What if he finishes the season with 1200 yards and 11 tds? Should he be going to the probowl then? What does it take to be a probowl receiver? 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns? Nobody is going to reach that this year.

I think they are. I know Chambers is.

It's difficult because there are limited spots on the pro bowl team.

Thank you!!!!!! I am sick of all of this Chris Chambers bashing.... He has had 3 great games back to back to back and some people are still saying that he is inconstant!!:confused: If he gets to 1,200 yrds he will deserve the free trip to hawaii!! I think he might break 1,300 if he keeps playing how he has been!! But to be honest I hope he doesn't break 100 yards this week so Ronnie can and get closer to the 1,000 yrd mark!
