I don't agree with all of his rankings but I do agree with his statements about who the potential 10th best QB is:

"Ryan Tannehill was suggested to me by someone in the NFL now newsroom. I think that is a good one."

He went with Alex Smith. He also considered Flacco, Matt Ryan, and Cam Newton.

Here is the complete list:

1. Rodgers
2. Cheater
3. Roethlisberger
4. Brees
5. Romo
6. Luck
7. Wilson
8. Manning
9. Rivers
10. Smith

So Tannehill is in the conversation as the 10th best QB and haters on this site want to get rid of him?

Dolphins fans are as negative as they come .

Tannehill is a good quarterback .

Those too blind to see that flat out don't know football .

Probably the same guys who can't tell 90 percent of Wilson's success is do to the team around him .

This interesting thing is half of that list will be out of the league in 3 years.

I pray to God #10 is Alex Smith and not Geno Smith........

I don't get how Alex Smith is always said to be better when he hasn't had a single year as good as Tannehill just had. Yea he's safe with the ball but most TD he has ever thrown was 23 and most yards 3300.

People complain about Tannehill man we would have double throwing a fit about Smith.

Surprised Flacco and Newton didn't get in. They're better than Tannehill right now.

Cam Newton is awful. More than half his throws are off his back foot, and he's a mental midget in confidence and how to handle himself. For crissakes, the guy still can't stop with the dumb ass towel around his head tucked into his shoulder pads. If i was his coach, i would have told him 2 years ago to grow up and get over that nonsense.

How does anyone leave Matty Ice off that list...top 5 guy...

Smith at 10? lmfao the guy that cant even get a WR to have 1TD last year?

He's in this particular persons discussion of top 10 and who wants to get rid of him? I would say he's in that 11-16 range and he has shown signs he can be better than that but it's time to prove it. Potential only takes you so far, it's time to gte his team to postseason.

he's helped teams to the playoffs and played well in big games. Once Ryan does that no one will put Alex ahead of him.

you mean losing in the playoffs even though Luck threw 4 INTs? or playing on a team that helped get Krapernick in the SB? his teams have been pretty dang good. no QB can win alone. I don't see how anybody can blame Tannehill for last year when the defense gave up the GB, Detriot and Denver games. Tannehill balled in the Denver game in particular

Alex Smith being rated ahead of Flacco is all types of nonsense. There's isn't a single personnel executive who would agree with that. Shiiiid, I'll take Tannehill over Smith too. All things considered.
