Here's an interesting take on Ricky and how all this could make Ricky look like a victim if there is an error in all this. Plus, interesting news on how surprised Ricky's agent is that this could be true plus how Saban told him Ricky was a coach's dream last year. Check it out if not already posted or seen.

I think the Denver Broncos should be fined or made to give up a draft pick if they reported false info about Ricky. :tantrum:

Thanks Despacio, I said it earlier, if I were a lawyer, I would have poked holes in this crap from the get go. I would sue, but that wont work, because the media person involved will just claim he doesnt have to divulge his sources, just like the NY Times when they spread disinformation and make it look one way, when really it is another. The league, with all its problems, will now be staring at the players union, and they just may have one more issue to discuss, and that is this so called "confidentiality" BS!

The NFL is a cuthroat business and I believe the Broncos organization had something to do with the genesis of this story. They want RW on the cheap. What better way than to reduce his value even more.

Kudos to Schefter. That's exactly the way to write this story. Let's find out what REALLY happened before we convict the man.

Like I said, a big black eye for the league if Ricky is actually clean and they still suspend him.

Adam was the Denver Broncos beat reporter for the Denver Post before his ESPN and NFL.Network gig ....he should know what is up.

I would agree if and only if they can prove it was the Denver FO person that was the source (and Ricky is not penalized by NFL HQ) ...if not, its hard and very unfair to blame the Football organization for a unprofessional reporter and non Denver football FO source.

But I am ticked at the leak just like you.

I agree. The league will look pretty bad.

They reduced it so much they made him untradeable!

Good move Broncos. :dunce:

Wow, these report clearly call out the fact that a month or more may pass before the situation is cleared up, and Miami cannot attempt to trade Ricky for picks until its officially cleared.

Talk about hurting the team thru rumor and speculation. This is garbage.

Whatever happened to a person's privacy rights, especially dealing with workplace and health issues???

Then if I'm the Dolphins I keep him. If he's truly clean, then he's worth much more to the Dolphins than any player they could pick up with an extra 5-7th rd pick.
No way I'd release him and let a team like the Broncos get him.
