On NFL.com, it said that Seattle released veteran DT Cedric Woodward, and Kansas City released veteran linebacker Mike Maslowski...these are some pretty decent guys apparently, but they are injured.....do u think Miami could pick them up and use them when they are healthy??? We could surely use a defensive tackle for insurance.

We have enough cast aways and Saban is trying to sort through them to make a somewhat playable team.
I agree with you about looking at who's been cut, but not if they're injured.

I too like where your heads at...but replacing our junk with other team's junk still leaves us with maybe a little better junk, but it's still junk.

Maslowski I dont care so much about.

Woodard, depending on his recovery schedule would be a very good pickup. He's an experienced Nose Tackle type. Right now we've got 63 year old Keith Traylor, backed up by 76 year old Jeff Zgonina who doesnt really fit the mold.

Id sign Woodard cuz next season zgonina and traylor will be gone.We still cant stop the run.How old is woodard?

Not enough room on the roster for another DT. Who do you suggest we cut to make room.

Do you watch the games? Our 1st team D has been pretty good. I haven't seen ANY team so far dominate our D-line yet. What evidence do you have that "we still can't stop the run". And if we couldn't, what makes you think that Woodard would solve that problem.
Honestly, some of you guys just seem to pull names out of your butts and seem to think they are upgrades over what we already have.
