Here is what i will be looking for first when the info from the scouting combime is released to the public:

40 times for the following players:

Hakeem Nicks
Crabtree
Kenny Britt
Darius Heyward-Bey (he is expected to run the fastest 40 this year)
Shonn Greene (if this guy runs a good 40, his stock will skyrocket)
Louis Delmas

I would love if our team could have Crabtree, but he will be gone within the first five picks. I haven't really done my homework on any of these guys yet, but I will be paying close attention to LB and DB. They are both big needs for us. I will also keep an eye on the WR and hopefully this FO can find a sleeper that falls to day two.

the combine is great because it alows teams with good scouts to find the great football players who dont preform well and pick them late for big steals. the combine is a joke and just is away to athleats more money than actuall better football players come the draft

Crabtree won't run at the combine....

He'll run at his pro day....

It drives me nuts when players do that. I always feel like they are trying to hide something. I like to see how these players run on the same surface on the same day. It makes it so much easier to compare them to each other.

It has been said that Crabtree has a slow 40 time for a top-tier WR. That's why I am curious to see what his time is.

rashad johnson and chip vaughn will be interesting also... some might pitch in sean smith, who is big and is an interesting prospect with questionable speed

40- times are something players tht lack in sufficent ball skill need to make up for in a flashy speed, sure being a great [player and runnning an outstanding forty helps your draft status but ruling out players that run 4.5's is a little ridiculous, ill take fitzgeralds 4.53 any day, better yet give me anquan boldens 4.71. it takes a lot more to be a great reciever than running a tenth of a second faster than someone else. i want the player that can translate their speed to the football feild without losing a step by not having cleats that might actually subtract weight from them and wearing a full set of pads and helmate on. we have our burner and personally i wan kenny Bitt

livin near rutgers universitymi got to see him play a lot and he was honestly double covered every game his junior and senior season but still found a way to eclipse the century mark, i think he is a fantastic athlete who poseses the skill set we need to fillo our big wr void. (also his counterpart tiaquan underwood might be someone to keep an eye on at the combine, also a fantasic underrated athlete, take a look at his game against buffalo(granted its buffalo) he put up around 250 recieving yards in one game)
