update: according to NFL Network, NFLPA head Gene Upshaw released a statement of support for the suspensions and for the league's just released policy on player conduct.

i thought for certain there would be a court battle between the union and the league over this, but apparently not.

on the air, Marshall Faulk seems a bit agitated by this, but Eisen says from what he can tell the union and the league hammered this thing out before announcing it, and that the players pressured the union into coming to terms because they are sick of the thugs tarnishing their image and the leagues..

I can't say that it matters to me what happens to Pacman. But does anyone realize he has never been convicted of a single crime. He's basically being suspended for being a PR liability.
