If it were up to me I would switch the Bills and Jets FWIW.

The Bills have no starting caliber FS ... or LG ... or TE ... or RT ... but they did sign a 2 down MLB, which is an improvement considering they tried to get by without one of those for the 2 previous seasons. :woohoo:

I can't see how we are ranked 17th. We have no OL, very bad LBs, one of the worst RB situations in the league. We have no blocking TEs and a WR core that will scare no one. We have time and money to get better before the season gets here but as we stand right now I can't see us in the top 20, more like 23-25.

Ranking us that high has to be from possible potential, not on talent that has been proven.

Ummmmm...weren't you the one saying Ireland built a playoff team just a few months ago? Which would put us in the top 12 in power rankings, right? All of those problems you listed were supposed to be some of Ireland's greatest achievements about a year ago...

well unlike Notre Dame the pats always are there contending. Not sure why the Pats ranking should be falling at this time

17 sounds about right, that's where the average teams are. We beat a few top teams, and turn around and lose to a few bottom teams.

That does seem to be pretty much the bottom line. I wish it were different.
