NFL Contracts

Every NFL contract should have specific language regarding breaking laws, drugs, etc. I know some do, but these superstar players think they are untouchable. Look how fast RW came back crawling when he realized his contract had him by the balls! You can't cut these guys b/c of their talent, but you should be able to withhold their salary, recoup signing bonuses and hold their exclusive rights for a period of time. This will show these scumbags how to behave when performing a job.

I completely agree with you. You got people like Sean Taylor who is in his 2nd year of his rookie contract already thinking he deserves more money. Its ridiculous. The Kellen Winslow thing, well I feel for the guy but he shouldnt have been screwing around on that motorcycle and he can only blame himself for losing the money he did and all the money he could lose if he cant regain his form

If it helps you any atleast when these guys screw up they are doing it on a bigger stage.

Ever felt underpaid at your job.. Its too early but if I played like him I want my raise and money quick before I get hurt or do something stupid (oops to late).. Remember that these guys are under a huge microscope and things get blown up a little, but some guys in the NFL keep a much lower profile, hence they stay out of trouble better.
