NFL Coverage Maps Week #1

OK, give me an example of Miami playing in an NFC stadium that was broadcast on Sunday afternoon on CBS.

I can, in 2012 they played at Arizona and San Francisco on CBS. Last year, both road games against the Saints and Buccaneers were on MNF.

Since when? When the Dolphins have played at an NFC stadium before, it was on CBS. When an NFC team came to Miami, it was on FOX. I know just last year in week 1, Cincinnati played at Chicago and it was on CBS. So this is obviously something that has changed starting this year.

You are exactly right. What has changed is that I think it has something to do with CBS getting Thursday night games for part of the season. As a result, some games that should be broadcasted on CBS will be on Fox this season because some of their games will be on CBS on Thursdays, hence Buffalo/Chicago. The whole purpose is to even out the games between both networks.

For the most part as always (with the exception of a few games this season):

Road AFC team = CBS
Road NFC team = Fox

The Jacksonville at Philadelphia game is on CBS and Washington at Houston game is on FOX, as has always been the case.

Ya, that is what I thought. Normally the Buffalo at Chicago game would be on CBS. Like you said, the Jacksonville at Philly game is still on CBS like it always has been.

Some of NC had Dolphins, but not Charlotte area. :boohoo: Looks like Buffalo Wild Wings or the radio/gamecast for me. Not sure I want to fight that crowd either.

Why is Pittsburgh and Cleveland being shown in much of the country (my part) instead of Dolphins- Pats. Johnny Manziel is not playing is he?

i tell ya what sucks...my nbc has been cancelled by directv in a contract dispute with raycom and i can't watch the game tomorrow night...or any sunday night football games til they lift it

Tomorrow's game will be good. Its just the donkeys & colts Sunday night. Never thought I'd be greatful the donkeys are on in primetime because...

Surprisingly, it is being shown in Vegas! I would have thought the Raiders-Jets game would have been broadcast here, so I'm stoked!

Same here in SLC. I was going to Buffalo Wild Wings regardless.

For once my market gets a break from the flaming tiddlywinks, I am midway between BHM and HSV but carry the BHM market on satellite. BHM is THE WORST NFL market in the entire country. No one in this area cares about the pygmies or dirty birds yet they are crammed down our throats.

And Mike Keith has the most annoying radio voice of any human being on this planet whose name is not eli gold.

I love the "coverage map thread". It means the season is here.

Thank God for Sunday Ticket!!
DFW - Gets... Jags - Phili ( can't imagine anyone but a Phili fan wanting to watch that game )
