just saw nfl networks rookie of the week sigment and sanchez was a finalist again, he didnt belong on the list. i dont know what they were watching but sanchez miss alot of third down throws. he threw behind a wide open edwards on a big third down for them. i just dont see it. the only reason they even scored the last two tds was bc of garbage calls. dont get. he made like two good throws. sorry just venting. i would give credit if it was due, but not this time.:err:

Yea it's pretty unbelievable how they have annointed him the next brady/favre after a few games, I think he'll be solid but I may be wrong but I dont think he will be a differance maker as far as them making the super bowl anytime soon.

pretty soon Defense will figure him out. He gets rid of the ball and sets up quick, but that tells me he is going to a specific spot most times. That will be studied and read and soon to pay the price. I predict our game and NE are prime candidates to do this. Moreso NE though but as time goes on....

The dude completed like 50% vs. us.

This is disgusting.

The Dolphins actually have a very good completion % against (57.6), we just happen to give up a lot of big plays. Sanchez missed on some throws, but he also made some very good throws. He played well for a rookie QB.

i'm pretty indifferent towards anything NFL Network related. i think there were better rookie performers last weekend though. IMO Maclin was the best of them.

It seems like your team winning the game should be a requirement to be nominated for rookie of the week. Sanchez didn't have his best game but did help lead the offense to 27 points with some clutch throws. He was off on a lot of passes early though.

He seems to be a real streaky QB so far.

Yeah it's crazy how he led our O to 27 pts on the road giving us a chance to win. Take off the anti-jets/dolphin homer glasses please.

He scored one TD and literally completed 50% of his practices, that isn't "Leading the team". The rookie of the week should have gone to the ref handing the jets the free PI calls. Because he was obviously a rookie at officiating.

Sanchez is just a rookie, way too early to anoint him as anything. The NFL is really amping up the PR machine on him though. I think the Bills are going to further expose him, like I said, just a rookie. Watch the officiating real close in that game too to see just how far the league is willing to go to create a star.

after doing so, i still think Maclin had a better game.

I didn't look at the other rookies this week but did sanchez win the award or was he just nominated?

He led his O to 27 points and in actuality he threw 2 TDs(the 2nd Edwards TD was a TD and a thing of beauty on 3rd and a mile). The comp % wasn't great but I'd rather have a lower comp % and score more points, wouldn't you?

of course. He was a highly touted rookie who has played better than people expected. It's very difficult for a rookie QB to come in and have the success he has had. You guys are comparing him to great vets but keep in mind he is a rookie and he's playing well. He's had 1 bad game in 5 games.

I don't think he deserved rookie of the week, but you're not giving him enough credit. The sideline pass to Edwards to the 1 set them up for a TD and you have no idea what happens if that pass interference isn't called. We probably would have run another fake punt for a first down.

Bottom line, you generally don't put 27 points on the scoreboard without good QB play.

Snatchez has a measly 74.1 QB rating.. There are 25 QB's with a better QB rating than Pablo Snatchez.

Twenty-Five.
