Why not trade a second rounder to the Eagles and get McNabb in? BP likes veteren QB's and the Eagles are looking to get rid of him. Also trade down the number1 to one of the coin flip teams and take Ellis around number 5 or 6. If he is not there the WR Manningham from Michigan is someone we need to get in the early 20's, he is feerless and big. What is your thoughts?

I'm a little suprised there hasnt been more buzz on mcnabb to the Fins, I think he has more left in the tank than culpeper did mcnabb has proven that he can get production without much talent around him, the hire of Henning isnt a perfect fit

McNabb played pretty well to end the season and looked healthy, BUT, he probably only has a couple years left. I would rather draft or acquire a younger guy like Derek Anderson, who will have another 10+ years left in him.

I also would love to trade down for Sedrick Ellis....I think he will likely go around the 5th or 6th overall pick.

Derek Anderson is really not that good. He has the weapons of Edwards and Winslow. They are the reason his numbers were so good this year. Anderson really doesnt have a great delivery, which is clear as day if you watched the Browns-Bengals game at the end of the season. There is a reason Baltimore got rid of him. He really is not that great of a QB.

Mario manningham is no an early 20's WR to take. I think kelly and jackson will be the only WR gone by the early 20's. Id take Hardy, Doucet, and Sweed before Manningham. But id rather take OT at early 20's like otah or williams.

OT
CB-cromartie
Hardy (Pat Sims if there)
I dont think we will go after McNabb

I'm tired of trading second rounders for QB's. Actually I'm tired of trading any picks for QB's... Not saying that I don't want McNabb... just that our track record in this respect has been less than desirable... I think we'd have a better shot at using that pick on Flacco (be it a reach or not) or another QB in the draft than trading it away on another "chance" QB.

I guess you missed the 1st game between the Bengals and Browns this year......he looked very good in that game..... 20 for 33 with 5 TD's.

Cleveland Browns have gone 5-11 4-12 6-10 4-12 since 2003. Couch, Garcia, Holcomb, Dilfer, McCown, Frye couldn't get it done throughout those years... since 2004 Winslow been there (i know out with injury one year though)... since 2005 Edwards there.

Anderson comes in and actually palys ridiculously well. Cleveland hasn't put up numbers or a record like this, pushing for palyoffs, for a long long time. I going on a limb saying Kosar??? lol... sad if that true.... but Anderson needs credit for what he did, not picture perfect, but a GREAT job!!!

You can't compare Donovan McNabb with Jay Fiedler or Daunte Culpepper on 1 leg. No comparison. McNabb is not coming off of that kind of injury and has been a top 5 QB in this league for much of his career.

That said, I would rather give up a veteran or ten that don't fit into our plans (we have many of those) for him, I'm sure they may even want some of them.

I may have missed it, but is there a reason the Eagles would trade us McNabb for only a 2nd rd. pick?

Injury prone - he maxed out years ago...

If I had the choice of Macnabb or Andersen it's Andersen

Yeah where the hell did Henning come from. I honestly feel and almost want to predict that in a few years we may have a defense but we'll be looking for a young dynamic offensive genus to get the O on track. I just see something bland and simple, what they ran in Dallas and in Carolina can't fly and won't fly in the AFC. From Baltimore to the Pats to even Oakland defenses in the AFC don't slack, running that simple smash mouth won't work.

mcnabb is one of my fav players. we have 2 second round picks right? i dont think we would get anymore out of one of those picks then we would from mcnabb. couple that with a trade for chad johnson and that gives us a big 3 with brown....but thats alot of wishfull thinking....lol
