I have to admit, I thought going into this season that it would again be a N.E. run division. After Brady went down, I felt that the Bills had the best shot at taking it. I had no idea that Buffalo would start out so poorly against division rivals and with the race as close as it is, this could be what takes them out of the running. It is still too early to tell, but this very well could be a race between the Jets and Phins.....something that I could never have imagined at the seasons start.

I believe that Sparano can keep these guys focused enough to keep this train on the tracks. The only thing that I am concerned about is that with all of this attention, the Phins are no longer under the radar. :unsure:

Imagine that Week 17 game our teams playing for a division title? Wow! I don't wnat to get too far ahead, we have a tough stretch after today's game(and today's game against SL is dangerous). If Favre limites mistakes we have a great shot, if he keeps throwing too many TDs to the other team we will have no shot.

Honestly though man, considering the season last year, I'd rather get to 9 wins and blow the season rather then going 3-13. At least then we'd be able to feel what it was like to be relevant again.

Personally i like the optimism :up:, if we don't make the playoffs then we don't, but how long has it been since we've been able to go into a week excited about potential playoffs?? waaayyyyyyy too long imo
