I`ve got the NFL gamepass screen open on the other tab, and pretty much ready to buy the thing. Wanted to get a little back first... Is it worth it? does it lag? Any feed back would be appreciated! thanks!

Can't get it here in the US, but everything I here about GamePass is good.

It is typically good if your computer is not too old. I find they struggle week one with some tech issues, but usually they figure it out.

type in 'directv' in the promo code to save 5 bucks

is 3 years too old?? lol! I watched my fair share of streams through the years but they of the free/not so legal type and while some were very good, most would just lag.... That's why Im not sure about this...

Over the past couple years, Gamepass has lagged when the demand was high. Hopefully, they have ample bandwidth this season.

when it comes to streaming video, it's usually the quality of your internet provider and your bandwidth, that determines the quality.

I bet you are fine.

I had Game Pass for the last 5 seasons while in Japan then Italy. Loved it. Stream was excellent. Funny though they always struggled a little at the start of week 1 but it only lasted a few minutes. The only drawback was that the stream is about 60-90 seconds behind so play results showed on my twitter feed or in the FH game thread. Includes NFL Network and my favorite, the Redzone Channel. All games regular season and playoffs over the last 2 years on demand as well.

Definitely worth the investment and you get a discount after the first year.

Correct. I was streaming at less than 5MB and still received a great HD picture without pause.

Thanks! I just bought it and watching the NE right now.... I cant figure how to adjust the quality meter though...

I just bought it. So far it looks and sounds good and has not lagged at all. It does not look full 1080p but certainly looks far better than any free stream I have ever seen.

You shouldn't have been able to purchase it as it is set up for overseas only. Are you sure you didn't purchase the pre season package or do you have a VPN pointed overseas?

It's automatic as far as I know. But then I never fooled with the settings because I was just damn glad to have it.

Oops, I thought we were talking about the preseason live. That's what I just bought. I think it will be worth the 14.99

Yes I bought that last night. Had a couple of glitches early but I have watched a couple of games today with no issues. Of course after I bought it I saw a couple of posts about the promo code. Should have googled it beforehand.
