Which one? The 51-46 Marino Obrian shootout or the 45-3 dismantling of the Jets later on that same year.We play them twice a year .

Excellent, excellent.

I am definitely watching that tomorrow on my day off. Thanks for the heads-up.

I know they are playing a lot of Fins games this week because of Danny going into the HOF, but why would they show the 45-3 game? A 45-3 thrashing doesn't sound like it would be on a show called "NFL's Greatest Games." It will be the shootout game.

I checked the info again on the digital cable guide and it doesn't say which game it was...either way, I'm just glad to be watching the old Miami Dolphins tear up the field.

If it`s an early season game, Week 4 or 5...and it`s at the Meadowlands, then it`s the 51-45 loss. I`ve seen that tape about 100 times, but I have yet to see the 45-3 victory. Come to think of it, they should show the 45-3 victory...`cause I can`t believe the `86 Dolphin defense could ever hold anybody to 3 points in a game!

I have that 45-3 game on tape...Lorenzo Hampton went crazy that night...

That loss sent the 10-1 New York Jets into a tailspin...they did'nt win another game after that if I remember correctly...:D

I have no idea why, but the game is from 3:30pm until 4pm...but the game before the miami vs jets game that they are showing is a full hour long.

Do you think the 45-3 game would be a "greatest game"?

We didn't win another reg season game but beat KC in the playoffs and had a 10 pt lead over Cle w/ under 4 mins to play until choking away that lead and a chance at the AFC Title Game :(

I have a complete copy of that 51-45 game if anyone is interested.

Wow, what a game. Probably the greatest game I ever witnessed. Too bad we lost. Still, from an objective standpoint, this game had everything (except Defense  )

I don't think I could bear to watch William Judson and Paul Lankford's attempts at defensive coverage that day...

Wes Walker just killed them...worst corner tandem in NFL history....:fire:

I know. Its hard to believe we scored 90 points in two games against the Jets in 86 and we only won one of them.
