NFL LIVE Bruschi and Edwards pick Dolphins QB situation (3rd) (1st) worst.

I don't think these guys have watched every preseason dolphin game
these are just assumptions from last year

Dead on.

People do not have to love the Fins, but at least mention that Henne is playing better under and new OC, a healthy Marshall and running threat in Bush.

I wish the media was fair.

They wax poetic about the Jets and Pats. They pile on others. Seems like sloppy journalism.

does it count all the drops his receivers had?(he had 9 in ONE game!) and the dropped TDs? the INTs he was credited w/ that he shouldn't have been?

well.. braylon was one of his recievers...

what has Sam Bradford done to garner the kind of respect he has? He plays in the worst division in football, and completely **** the bed down the stretch when his team had command of the division.

He had over 3,500 yds with basically no receivers.

Herm was just talking about how well Henne was playing too, which is funny. Regardless, Herm is an idiot, so you have to take that into consideration.

Ha more ESPN "analyzing". I find this stuff hilarious. They throw in some truth, and then wrap it in ****. God I wish I could work for ESPN as an analyst. Some of those chicks are hot as hell. Plus, I'd be making millions to sit around, watch sports all day, play with my balls, give my personal biased *** opinion, and pretend that my predictions are worthwhile just because I'm on ESPN. I can only dream...

Most of these analysts are from the northeast. They have their favorites and then plug everyone else in after that.

Final 11? Talk about arbitrary...I'm not looking at the stat sheet...I'm looking at a guy get a lot of love for basically being check-down Charlie...in 5 years when he's still the same mediocre guy, you can remember back when a guy on finheaven tried to illustrate it to you.

I was attempting to show you how he struggled with turnovers in his first few games, as most young QBs do, and fixed that problem from the middle of the season and on. I picked the 5/11 split because looking at the numbers, that 6th game represented a turning point. That's how projections are done.

Take Henne's first year. His first 8 games: 6 TDs, 4 INTs. Final 6 games: 6 TDs, 10 INTs.

Henne's final 9 games last year: 171/284 60.2%, 1849 yards (205.4 per game), 7 TD, 13 INT, 68.5 rating. And you wonder why people are down on him?

Meanwhile, Mark Sanchez posted a 101.1 rating in the playoffs, completing 67% of his passes for 5 TDs and 1 INT. (@Indy, @New England, @Pittsburgh, three tough places to play)

of course brady is first. the pats are always first no matter what with ESPN its classic.

Good, it's THAT much sweeter if the Dolphins pull out a 9-7 or 10-6 season. (Though we would all welcome an even better one!) And makes them look like idiots.

Better to be underrated than overrated. "Us against the World" mentality.

ill never get the inferiority complex in florida. everyone in the north east including espn was all over the heat this year. at first boston was def the better team then once they screwed up on that trade everyone was on the heat bandwagon. their pats bias is crazy but other than that there really isnt anything called a "northeast" bias. trust me - northeastern cities hate EACH OTHER much more than they hate florida. so tired of hearing this all the time

i think its crap how they are so down on Henne - but i mean the guy SUCKED last year. he SUCKED. we only know that he looks much better b/c we follow the fins every single day hour by hour. we know what they dont about the offense and reggie bush and marshall stepping it up etc. they dont - YET. lets hope he proves them wrong and us right.

no one is "bashing" the dolphins here folks - they are just disregarding them b/c they were irrelevant the past few years. thats all.

3300 yards 15 TDs, in 15 games throwing 61% in a Dan Henning conservative offense isn't too bad.. The 19 interceptions is the ONLY thing that worries me..Not the WORST... Sorry..

It's true, the Dolphins were huge in the media when Marino was around. Even after, pretty much until 2004. Then even in 2006 the Dolphins were overrated, remember SI having them losing to the Panthers in the Super Bowl? They finished 6-10. Guess we can't blame them for being down on us right now...weather it, and hopefully the Phins WIN this year and make them look like morons.

The Dolphins have the most appearances on Monday Night Football with 74, next are the Cowboys with 71. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monday_Night_Football_all-time_team_standings Pats and Jets have 42, Bills have 40.

But the "turning point" didn't happen in game six and continue for the rest of the season...that's my point....his final 5 games he had 1 TD and 6 INTs....

His season started low, reached a peak in the middle, and then came crashing down...so your 5/11 split isn't an accurate picture of his season. It's more like 5/6/5..and if how the season ended is weighted more than how it began, it doesn't bode well.

Bruschi said we have the 3rd worst group of qbs in the league behind only Seattle and SF... Herm Edwards said we are by far the worst....

Henne ...please shut these guys up...

Well even though i STILL think henne has potential we are definately in bottom rung overall until proven otherwise. Moore was such a failure as a starter that the team drafted back to back high round qb's and said adios instead of keeping him as a veteran backup and if we have a third stringer its probably not a guy that would make another nfl team
