I just saw ESPN's NFL live. They had what they like to call an AFC east preview. It lasted all of 5 minutes. They mostly talked about the Pats, and Eric Allen and marcellus wiley gave their predictions, and big suprise showed no love for us. I think Eric Allen had us only winning 3 games. Our team is much better than that. We're not going to be super bowl contenders, but we're gonna be a lot better than last season. They had the Pats of course winning the East by a landslide. I really just thought the show was a joke, being that the whole preview on 4 teams took around 5 minutes and most of it was about the Patriots. Did anybody else watch this today? What did you think?

Respect must be earned. Its not just given because we have an entirely new team and set of coaches. When the Dolphins start winning the tough games, then they will change their tune. But not before.
To expect such is pointless.

do you think any of these ex-players prepare for these shows? i wouldn't be surprised if someone admitted to not knowing pennington is the qb. Aikman and Faulk are exceptions to the rule. cushiest jobs on the planet.

I get what you're saying, and you're right. My main point was that they called it an afc east preview and it only lasted 5 minutes, and most of it was about the patriots. All i'm saying is if they want to talk about the afc east talk about the 3 other teams some more, and do it for a half hour not 5 minutes. If they want to just talk about the pats then call it a new england preview or something.

When I saw the title of this thread i started laughing and rushed to open it to read what it said... Thats how credible ESPN is to me (with ALL reporting, not just the fins).

Trey Wah Wah Wah Wiiiingo... I dont know how this guy even got on the air, nevertheless NFL airtime

These guys usually make their observaions on the stats from the year before. Very few actually make an effort. If Keyshawn can do it anyone can.

theyre not part of ESPN, they passed the "I have football knowledge" tests...

Aikman is one of the best in the business. I dont think he would ever go to ESPN

yeah i had to stop watching most nfl analysts because for the most part they are incompetent...especially peter king hes a POS...Pats are gonna get the most airtime because for the most the east sucks even though im taking the jills for a wildcard this year

They predicted the phins going 4-12 and the other prediced 5-11 this year which IMO is completely incorrect!!

ESPN has turned into a hype machine. They absolutely beat the hell out of the whole Favre saga. Anything that's "in" in plastered all over that channel. We happen to be the most "not in" thing in football right now because of our record last year.

Just be happy they didn't talk about Favre for the whole 5 minutes. The Patriots were 16-0 last year so they prob deserve to be the heavy favorites and we were 1-15 last year so we prob deserve to be picked for last.

Who cares? Does what "professional" anaylsists say about us actually mean a damn thing. NO. Lets go prove ourself on the field. The more they say this sh**, the more our team will play with a chip on its shoulder.
