This is what i remember Mark says miami will run on the Saints because new orleans is horrible at defending the wildcat other teams average6.5 yars per play when running the wildcat also Teddy Bruschi talked about the game he played against us last year and how hard it was to stop us. They were all speaking highly of our offense they also used that indoor field to simulate the wildcat and why its so hard to defend i dont remember all the details but it was an excellent discription because Teddy did it and he actually had to face it so it made alot of sense he says when Miami runs the wildcat it makes the linebackers want to move up and this causes congestion making it hard to see the play develop. Herm picked the Saints but mentioned miami is the most horrible place to play because of the heat said if miami has sucess running it will be a long day for the Saints.

Dolphins 56, Saints 0. RB- 280 yds, 5 tds. RW- 230 yds, 3 tds. Henne 2-2 for 47 yds.
Brees 1-9, 22 yds, 8 ints.

I'm calling it right now... The Phins will NOT run the wildcat more than 5 times on Sunday. All this unnecessary attention on the wildcat bothers me. Maybe they're hoping to catch NO off guard with a standard offense.

they need to run it a lot so they could eat up the clock and keep the saints offense off the field so if they need to run it 30 times so be it

well,DONT hold your breathe on that one,my friend....

what if we did something like line up in the wild cat with henne at TE and then keep switching back to a normal offense? i think that would screw with theyre minds

I'm expecting the Saints to blitz the wildcat more than any other team so far. But if Miami doesn't abandon it, the wildcat will eventually work. It always does. So we could see them stop it 8 times for about 24 yards (about 3 yards a carry). And then on the 9th time we run it, we get 56 yards and a TD. We have a very diverse offense. The Saints will have their hands full. Expect them to blitz it, even with the safeties.
I'd like to see another safe Ronnie pass to Fasano in a blitzing situation.

It is critical that we get the ball first, go up 7-0, and then stop the Saints without scoring on their first drive. We can not have them getting up on us early.

That's a good thought. We usually defer if we win the coin toss though but maybe that'll change for this game.

was thinking the same thing i dont believe we refer this week anyone else got an opinion on the coin toss i have been thinking about it wondering what sparano will do??

One thing I have noticed is that everyone is talking about the Wildcat. No one has mentioned Henne at all. That's probably a good thing since it takes any pressure off him. He could play a big role in this game. The Saints secondary is actually very good. Sharper is very good at taking picks to the house. I also feel like we could run less Wildcat than people think this week.
