They have a whole segment on Steve Young, had top 10 moments and then explained the mechanics that make him great.

Then they get back from the break and say "Oh, marino is going into the hall too"

THEY SPEND 15 MINUTES ON STEVE YOUNG AND LESS THAN A MINUTE ON MARINO?!?!?

ESPN doesn't give the Dolphins or Marino any love...think you guys would be used to it by now...I know I am

Haven't you learned by now ESPN hates the Dolphins?

You know what? During Sunday's induction, I bet they broadcast Steve Young's ceremony in HD, and then when Dan comes on they cut away to an episode of "Heidi" or "Telletubbies."

That's why I'm watching NFL Network all day Sunday. NFL Network has given Dan, and the Dolphins some MAD LOVE lately.

It doesn't matter what those fools think, the HOF honored Dan more by selecting the FIns to play in the HOF game, now thats mad love!

After watching NFL Live today I definitely saw this thread coming ........

But as a Bills fan, even you can see the palpable disrespect that ESPN shows Miami, huh?

I'm sure you enjoy it and all, but it's definitely obvious.

The NFL Network on the other hand, they have been giving us a lot of love lately. I watch the NFL network all the time.

Yes and no. Earlier today, ESPN televised an hour long tribute to Dan Marino. I can understand some of the bitterness towards NFL Live but ESPN has definitely acknowledged Marino's accomplishments.

No, I'm talking about the talking heads.

ESPN's program director is probably mandated to show that stuff because of Sunday.

so sensative guys. Not that big a deal

Steve Young is an ESPN talking head himself. Dan is competition!

Dude, if it was sensitivity, we would be in mourning and in tears.

It's aggrivation. We are aggrivated that an NFL show gives more respect to a QB who was a product of the West Coast offense and talent that San Francisco had, rather than a QB who has held practically every record a QB can hold, and single handedly won for his team.

no, they show marino and the fins no love whatsoever. in fact, the hour long "Dan Marino: Hear of A Champion" that has been airing daily for the past few weeks on the espn networks is for ratings only.

what pisses me off about nfl live is for the last week it's been pennsylvania live as they've spent the entire show mostly on TO and then later in the week talking about hines ward.

how did they give more respect? Because they did a segement on him? Maybe they did someting on Dan Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thur???? Have you watched the show all week? Do you know?

Even if they did just do a segement on Young. Hey, Young WORKS FOR ESPN! Of course he might get some extra pub from them. He is one of theirs. It's not a lack of respect, its just a story on one guy.

yeah i watched that, that was pretty good, i am too young to truly appreciate marino's accomplishments but even when i really became a fan back in 98 i was amazed at him. there was also some stuff with george blanda and fran tarkenton(spelling?) before him, man... that fran was something else... it was funny watching him run back 30 yards, run forward and laterally and then trow it, each play was like a minute long!

They didn't.

Yes, I have.
