NFL makes First Schedule Change

I have no problem with the move, I would rather watch a good game on Sunday night and that one should be a dandy.

i agree, although it is getting pretty annoying seeing the eagles EVERY WEEK regardless of who they play.

I'm psyched because both the Giants and Pats are televised where I live weekly anyway...now that they'll be playing sunday night it leaves more games to be televiesd on Sunday afternoon instead of just regional action!

The Bears definitely deserve the credit, but this team doesn't need it. I loved the Bears being the underdogs...this is a humble hardworking blue-collar team who thrives off of flying under the radar, so it's a funny feeling to be watching them all over the t.v. this year. Still gotta back it up and take it to the Super Bowl though baby!!

The flex schedule is great, lets face it, having teams that looked good in the offseason playing terrible playing in the national spotlight just ruins ratings. I dont want to watch two bad teams play in primetime.

It definitely is cool, but they need to make sure that one team doesn't get too many home or away primetime games in a season.

Playing at home on primetime nationally television is much more of an advantage than a regular home game. Of course, that means that playing on the road during primetime is a bigger disadvantage than a normal road game.

Dick Ebersol (chairman of NBC Sports) was on a radio show before and he said that the max primetime games a team gets is 6. Which I think is too many. I'm still on the fence about the flex scheduling. I will wait to see how it works this year.

I like the flex scheduling because I don't have to watch 2 crappy teams play in primetime and they should have made that for MNF instead.

exactly!!

I have a feeling the November 19th game could wind up being Cincinnati at New Orleans. NBC's initial draft had Washington/Tampa but that matchup now looks stinky-inky.
