I'd be surprised if Pitt takes another RB, especially so early after drafting one last year (R.Mendenhall) and their needing to upgrade the Oline.

I love what Delmas does...but that is a reach at 25. You have Cushing and Sintim available as well as Everette brown i would look for us to take one of those guys first on our chart cause we need a pass rush OLB to rotate with porter and wake and eventually take over for JP...And Duke Robinson is probably pretty high on this teams radar as well as Mack

Now i know we need help in our secondary i woudl look for a CB in FA and a safety in the draft...if Delmas isnt available in the 2a position i would look for Smith out of Utah or maybe someone like Bruton out of ND in the 3rd

I like where you are headed but its alittle early for Delmas IMO

Yea I like Delmas also, but I wouldn't take him at 25. Just like we did with Henne last year, we would have to risk losing him to pick up better value in round 1. U got Smith, Sintim, Cushing, Brown, Laurinitis, English, Nicks all on the board still.

I would like a trade in this scenario but since I cannot predict that I say Delmas. The stars also mean best available.

I would rather have Robinson or one of the OT or H Nicks at 25 then Delmas. I think you can get someone like Delmas (or Johnson) with 2a

if we take a S that is not top3 with the 1st pick while all those WAY BETTER players are available i will shoot my head off. that will be worst then picking ginn @ #9. all of those players can be starters or contributors IMIDIATLEY even Duke Robinson whom i dont like to much.

i agree, that is why we picked Delmas, because he is the number 1 all around FS.

Not another Free Safety in the first round. No Thanks Randy Mueller, we've been down this path before(Jason Allen). If you're going to grab a secondary guy, then grab a corner. A FS is just an overweight corner anyways. If you get a #1 Corner, then Will Allen moves to #2, Goodman moves to #1, and you've improved 3 positions at once. Additionally, Safeties are generally cheap, and you can pick one up on the free agent market. No safety for me.

My backup plan is taking the #1 center, mack at this position... If I can't find good value on a slipping guy, I'll take Mack.
