NFL needs new contract fast...

the NFL needs to sign a contract with the PA soon or it could delay free agentacy this year. I don't like the idea of a NFL with no salary cap, thats how the Yankees are always the best team in baseball. I would hate to see the NFL being dominated by a team because they have all the best players due to no cap.

If contract talks can delay or stop an entire season, it could realistically delay free-agency. Someone posted a link on the main board where it is reported that the NFL season could be delayed until April 1st if contract talks were far enough along to merit a delay.

The agreement has another year left on it. It will affect free agency this year by changing how contracts may be worked out.

IMO there is just too much on the line to have a strike...the NFL is so popular now that it would be devestating to the league, fans, and everyone else involved.
