NFL needs younger refs

These old farts aren't callin plays right in BIG games. I think some young bucks like myself should become NFL officials, yes I'm dead serious I don't see why not.

Remember when the officials went on strike and replacement officials were brought in? Those guys were great! They let the players play, didn't call tick-tacky penalties, and never decided the outcomes of games.

Refs shouldn't decide outcomes of games, that is what is so BS about our refs. The NFL needs to dumb down a bit and let players play..

I hate the PI and Illegal contact penalties the most. They miss the obvious ones and call them if you breathe too hard on the reciever.

Maybe we should start a petition and send it in to the NFL... We want younger refs, I'm willing to step up when ever the NFL is ready to step up and give me $$$ and MONTHS of not working hehehe...

They don't need younger refs, they need FULL TIME REFS. Seriously, ever other major sport emplys their refs full time. Their job is to know the rule book, interpret the rules and infractions correctly nad make a call. Not in the NFL.

In the NFL, these guys end up going back to work on monday to their job as a lawyer, or salesmen. It seems completely ******ed to me that the guys who arguably have the most impact on a game, may be distracted by quarter end sales numbers from their regular jobs.

And fix the asnine coverage rules.
It's not a video game.
I don't care if the scores 3-0 or 51-49, let 'em play.
High scores shold be earned, not a given.

1) Get full time refs.
2) Give the refs more field time by letting them call college games
3) recruit ex-players to be refs. Ex-players would get more respect fro the current players, are more likely to be physically fit and alert, and would know what players do to con the referees.

They shouldn't touch college games. Remember, the rules are different. That would just confuse them more. What they should do ( and maybe the do already ) is have refs go over to NFL Europe and do games there. At least they are affiliated with the NFL. And, it gives the refs something to do during the "offseason."

Really those are the only two decent refs in the game. Funny how they are probably the youngest ones too.
