oh don't believe ireland won't and should be fired just because ross likes him i'm sure he likes tony too but this is all about winning and business and if cowher gruden fisher wants full control they will get it in miami 2012 bank on it because if tony goes jeff should as well because he is much at fault if not more then tony is
ireland is not at fault in the manner sparano is. he didnt have full control of draft decisions until this year. we dont know the story 100%. but we do know pat white was parcells pick. one can only assume parcells made the decisions on draft day until he left. there has been talent added to the roster, and there have been mistakes made.
the story on ireland has not been written entirely yet. and the early indications seem to indicate he found some guys that can play in this league in the draft this year.
sparano is clearly to blame - the culture he had help developing - he had parcells reputation to lend him credibility. and the culture is still poor. its one of losing - poor practice habits, in fighting, unable to win games at home, unable to win must win games....on and on and on. terrible game management over and over and over. sparano is clearly not an NFL head coach. its NOT clear that Jeff Ireland is not an NFL GM. one could make a case either way at this point.
regardless - sparano must go, and if ireland stands in the way of developing a winning culture needed, or prevents us in anyway from adding the necessary pieces - then he must go as well
regardless what Ross thinks of Ireland. at this point he isnt safe.
