NFL network coverage really sucks!

I know we play on the NFL network next week. I know football is football but was it only me or was most of the first quarter field noise only. The announcers mic's were out. Hope its better for our Carolina game.
 
I actually enjoyed just hearing the crowd and the players on the field rather than someone blabbering about the obvious. It was football heaven to me.

I totally agree. I much prefer watching the games that way.

Wish it was like that for every game. I think it's fantastic.. It makes the viewer pay attention more, and appreciating the game for the great game it is, as well as the atmosphere of this great sport.

A prime example of less is more.
 
You have a point. It was pretty cool kinda like being there. Considering the crap talent they have. I guess the same two guys will call our game too.
 
I absolutely loved it when there was no announcers. Now if only they would do that for all the Dallas games I have to watch.

On a side note and completely off-topic, nothing is worse than the radio announcers here. I can barely understand what they are saying. For an area that really wants English-only, you'd think they'd know how to speak it.
 
I enjoyed it a lot. If they would of kicked up the volume on the field it would of been even better.
 
On a side note, I can't STAND Deion Sanders. Is he the epitome of a pompous jerk who knows it all...or what?
 
Several years ago here in Canada there was a strike on CBC (the national network) and saturday night hockey went on the air for several weeks without announcers. To watch a game with only ice-noise was really fun and refreshing...
 
Like really... all of you have NFL network? ****ing comcast and their bull**** forces me to go find the game elsewhere. Who are the announcers? Hammond? Collinsworth moved to NBC... who are they?

Its gonna be wildcat this, wildcat that all night blah blah blah.
 
The NFLN production of live games does blow. The announcers are the absolute worst as well. This year they have Bob Papa and Matt Millen which is even worse than what they had last season.

Sure am glad Im going to the game.
 
I'm with you WVdolphan. I'm going to the game as well, so I don't have to deal with it, not that I care.
