NFL Network: Packers will not tag Flynn for a possible trade.

Flynn is over hyped and most teams see that. He has only started a handful of games in college or pro's.
GB will be happy to get a compensatory pick for him.

WELL, i guess the feelers on the pack had out on flynn were a little more realistic than they had hoped.

bad for the pack, but saved some desperate gm his job for another year or two.

he will still make some bank though. some team will still have that FLUKE game in the heads and pay through the nose.

hopefully, not us!!!

They weren't going to tag him anyway, they can't afford to pay Matt Flynn more money Aaron Rodgers is making.

whether the Dolphins go after him or not, I feel confident that coach Philbin has a good read on him. he has seen a whole lot more than two games

Wouldn't they have to tag him before they can trade him? Regardless, I dont like the thought of giving up draft picks but if Philbin is really sold on him then do what it takes.

We have the inside track on two of the possible options with the coaches of Flynn and Tannehill on our staff, with that said I think Manning is the guy we are looking to ride with - he is going to sell the tickets for Ross and if healthy enough he is going to win us at least 10 games or more next year.

Manning makes everyone better on this team he is that kind of guy and I don't think Ross is going to let him slip through is hands if he can do anything about it.

Flynn is my #1 choice if Philbin believes in him. This is GREAT news for us either way. Either we now target him and get the guy who can lead us for years, OR we don't and he is one more name out there for other teams interested in a QB.

Win win for Dolphins fans.

Like I said in prior posts why would any GM in their right mind tell Green Bay they were interested in Flynn ahead of time. It makes no sense, you might as well push all in before you are even dealt the cards on the first hand of the tournament.

Why pay more now for the same product you can get one month later for much less cost.
