NFL Network picks Brice McCain's INT as #1 play from week 1

Hartline with the silver medal...LOL! Was a great catch though...

Cant believe gruden didnt challenge that...game felt like there was a vegas influence to it

Always makes me wonder how much on the up and up things are...have to challenge that

I watched it multiple times, no way it was getting reversed when it was called an INT originally...

And it's not like it's being discussed as a contreversy, it's actually the #1 play of the week... nobody seems to have an issue with the call at all...

Just saw the countdown on NFL network and that McCain's INT was #1. I was also surprised that Landry's punt return didn't make it.

Thanks for posting Daytona!

Probably but that was a big deal play...unless they said he pinned it on his shoulder long enough to count as possession his rear end came down out of bounds and the ball did move before he regathered it

Have to challenge that especially when our offense wasnt doing much all game long...although i will say the skins dont give the fans looks of plays which means its completely dependent on someone they have in the booth upstairs deciding what should be challenged

I do agree that on a strategy standpoint, it wouldn't be a bad idea to challenge it at that point in the game if you think it's a 50/50 proposition... it's just a matter of what value you assign to your timeouts versus implied odds...

Im sure that 3 timeouts played into it...but you also have the 2 minute warning as a free time out should you get there on d and need it

I know watching the game live, my first though was it wasn't going to hold up, after the replay I was more confident as the ball wasn't wobbling at all throughout... just a great play by the CB.... hell we can't always be on the losing end of great plays....lol!

Dude next to me was going ape over the lack of challenge. Ball didn't move....hand did, but ball seemed secure. Not sure how the challenge would end up, but I'd guess the ruling would stand.

All turnovers and TDs are automatically reviewed in the booth. You can't challenge the play. If you think a turnover (or TD) occurred and it was not called on the field - you can then challenge the call. There shouldn't be any discussion of whether or not it should have been challenged.

Beast of a play. He got picked on all day but he fought. That's what we lacked in the past, guys who have that fight for four quarters.
