NFL Network vs ESPN Draft Coverage

Mostly NFLN but if there's a commercial I'll flip the channel. One thing is for sure. As soon as the Dolphins are on the clock both of them will go to commercial. Once we make our pick they'll talk about the next pick coming up and **** the Dolphins's pick. The only way they'll say something will be if we really mess up the pick

Ozzy rules!!

One of my greatest draft coverage moment memories was Mel Kiper going apoplectic over audacity of The Fins to ignore his highly-touted personal playmate of the month, Brady Quinn.

Of course what followed was one of the worst moments when they overdrafted the speedster in the cast and his whole fam damily!

I'll bounce back and forth between both. The coverage really doesn't matter. It's 99% re-hashed information.

Mayock is the most insightful for sure.

I still like Kiper. I grew up watching him do draft coverage.

I record both ESPN and NFLN, but I watch NFLN, then i just watch both again just to see what both have to say when we pick...as if it mattered.

NFLN all the way. Not a fan of Kiper. I enjoy most of the folks on NFLN: Eisen, Mayock, Jeremiah, Mooch....Kay Adams...

I watch/online nfln. ESPN had become unwatchable with their "experts". Maybe with them getting the pink slip it maybe better. I will flip back and forth all night.

Ditto....every freaking year...pisses me off...

ESPN or NFL Network tonite

I usually find myself watching ESPN primarily as I like Gruden but sometimes go back and forth....I always record both so after we pick I can watch NFL Network for Mike Mayock's analysis as I think he is pretty legit in scouting

NFL Network's coverage is awful. Because ESPN owns so many of the college highlights the NFL Network tape "breakdowns" often consist of the player at the combine or something similar (especially when you get outside the first 40 picks).

NFL Network had a good first few drafts but their coverage is amazingly lazy these days. To be avoided.

I agree with this, ESPN shows more player highlights and it just seems more exciting on ESPN. Everyone hates on Mel Kiper and Gruden but they are intense and passionate and I like that. NFL network also has Deion Sanders and I cringe when I hear him speak.

Kiper knows about as much about the draft as my cat does.

I grew up watching it on ESPN and its like an old friend you only get to see once a year.
