Peanuts….

That seems like a joke, in terms of compensation.

I looked up his salary, its saying his salary is $3.88M for the season but its showing that as the Ravens portion so I can't tell if thats just the remaining salary for the season, which I am guessing it is.

Still, its strange that Carolina couldn't get more than flipping a late 5th for an early 6th. Those picks, might only be 10-15 picks apart, depending on how many 5th round comp picks are handed out. If Baltimore gets to the AFCCG and Carolina continues on their current path, those picks could be 7-8 picks apart, again, depending on how many 5th round comp picks are awarded.

Last year 9 5th round comp picks were awarded.

The only thing that makes some sense here is that Johnson didn't want to get traded to any other teams that might've offered more, which Carolina could've ignored and traded him to the highest bidder but its possible a potential new team wasn't as interested in trading for a guy who didn't want to play for them.

Maybe we can squeeze another year out of Terron. It doesn't look he is going to be traded. Hopefully Paul develops so when he does need to play he can play at a high level.

We have so many other needs to address, to not have to worry about LT would be a relief.

Smith would be an awesome F/A signing. But unfortunately I think he'll get close to what Robert Hunt got from Carolina. Essentially pricing himself out of Miami's comfort zone.

Every time I read about the success of these rookie OLinemen from the 2024 draft class, I dispise Grier even more. He blew it.

Add insult to injury. Puni was selected with the pick we forfeited number 86 overall thanks to Ross's antics.
