With the Giants benching Daniel Jones today, it appears he’s unofficially a free agent, as he will undoubtedly be released in February.

Would love to add him as backup in the off season. Miami would be a great situation for him.
Daniel Jones is great at scrambling.... but that's about it.

He'd be better than what we have, that's for sure. But I bet we can find someone better. I hope.

Ryan Poles got Shane Waldron fired, not Caleb Williams.

Williams has been making the most of bad (OL) situation all year. If anyone thinks our OL situation is bad, try watching a Bears game.

In the London game against Jacksonville, he was able to carve them up despite the constant pressure.

The Bears chose to build around WR's over OL (sound familiar?), so its no wonder they are in this position. Luckily for them, they don't have a lot of other needs on the roster and they have Carolina's second round pick, so they will attack the OL in the draft, along with their $80M+ in cap space.

Its hard to fire a defensive coach like Eberflus when you consider they've only allowed 21+ points once in the last 16 or 17 games, going back to last year.

That Hail Mary against Washington really took the air out of their sales, 16 days ago they were that close to being 5-2 and the toast of Chicago.
Caleb Williams hasn't done his OL many favors. He doesn't know how to respond to pressure in an NFL way and tries to play the college way where he can just bail jn the pocket and be faster than the defenders who aren't breaking contain. And he ends up.running right into defenders.

How defenses can play him and attack his o line is enabled by his inability to make the defense pay for bringing pressure, and bad pocket movement creates sacks where more polished qbs can side step.

Really? Jones is pure trash. I doubt that he is any better than what Miami have at backup spots.

It’s completely baffling to me. It seems pretty evident to me that Woody basically forced the entire Aaron Rodgers situation on Douglas and Saleh…and then fired them when it predictably fell apart.
Let's keep score.
GM, Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator gone.
Jets woeful defense. Let's promote the Defensive Coordinator to right the ship.
Classic Jets.
