Ouch, Carolina appears to have lost their best player for the season.

Its looking like pick 33 is heading to Chicago.
Also, I have a message for Robert Hunt...

If I was a Carolina fan I would have died from vomiting my insides out by now.

I pity them, must be just awful.

Trading that much for a 5'9" QB is something the CPU wouldn't even do on Madden!

And couple that with who a guy who is now considered the games worst owner, in David Tepper, after Daniel Snyder was forced to sell.

The only good thing the Panthers can say right now is that at least Deshaun Watson isn't under contract with the Panthers.

Who knows, maybe at the end of the year Carolina trades for Watson. If Cleveland gives them enough draft picks.

I have a different message for Robert Hunt, talk to the front office in Carolina to see if they will trade you back to Miami. Hunt made the right decision in taking the bag of cash though.

They'd have to clear a lot of cap space first in order to do it but if the team continues on this trajectory of pure dumpster fire, there isn't much use for an expensive veteran OG.

I honestly don't think Watson sees another contract. The Browns are stuck with him.

Which is crazy to think about it. In 2020 he was sensational. Maybe it was all Will Fuller.

Its really hard to comprehend him being this bad.
It's like he hasn't watched film since he was in Houston.

Diving deeper into this, a few Browns fans are claiming they are running the wrong offense. I don't care enough to dive any deeper but the 10% or so of Browns fans who havnt given up on Watson are hanging on to this hope.

Maybe the Raiders would be open to a trade after the season, in which Cleveland pays up to half of his salary.

The happy endings ended.....

Coincidence?

2020? The year he won 4 games and compiled a bunch of garbage time yardage?

Fact of the matter is, every QB since and including Baker Mayfield in Cleveland has outplayed him. That includes Flacco and Brissett, who have been hot garbage in other places in recent years.

All Deshaun Watson ever wanted to do was run in circles and chuck it downfield. Never cared about offensive structure, never cared about taking sacks because his offensive line just got blamed for it while he was hailed for his toughness for self-inflicted wounds. He took over for a team that was making playoff runs with Tom Savage, Brock Osweiler, Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallet, that team could and did win with bottom level QB play, so of course the offense he could provide as a freelancer was just fine- until it wasn't after DHop got traded and the defense began to age.

There is no way a high level QB in this day and age should ever be healthy and usher his team to a 4 win season. The game is structured in such a way now that good QB's have a disproportionate amount of influence in the outcome, such to where if a QB has a 4 win season, then they aren't anywhere close to a good QB.
