NFL onestep closer to returning to L.A.

i'm pretty happy with the 32 team format, i don't guess 34 would be that bad but any more team and it's going to dilute the talent pool too much

2 conferences
4 divisions in each conferenc
4 teams in each conference
16 game schedule
8 weeks in the season designated for a bye week

it's all perfect, adding another team will screw things up

The Chargers could very well be moved back their as well. I hear they are struggling to get a stadium deal done and will not hesitate to relocate across California. I can imagine the NFL expanding to 33 teams, after all the division is set up perfectly and the schedules and weeks are all good. Though maybe they're talking about moving the Trojans to pro-level, it's apparent they could beat many of the unsucessful teams in the NFL :)

It sucks for any NFL fan to have their team moved. I think if any team is re-located to LA it may be the Rams. As most fans in Missouri follow the Cheifs, even though St. Louis is a good sports city.

As long as they don't expand the league to 33 teams I am ok with it.The league doesn't need to add any teams. Just move the Saints there and be done with it.

Also, if a team does move there from another city, I hope they rename them and give them new colors and all. Like the Browns did when they became the Ravens or like when the Oilers became the Titans.

They won't expand and add a team. It was a disaster when there were 31 teams and 1 team had a BYE week 1 and one had one week 17. Will never happen again.

Out of New Orleans, Jacksonville, and Minnesota.....which ever one doesn't pass their bill to get a stadium built, will be in LA.

It's down to those 3

hmmmm, I hope it is Jacksonville, that will let our central Florida brother fin fans many more opportunities to watch the team play.

San Diego is also in the running for the same reason. And, IMO, right now the frontrunner.

No, I don't think there is any law. Just last year Vegas was trying to pry the Marlins from Florida.

Yeah I wasn't sure Nub,I just thought there was some reason why Vegas couldn't have a Pro team of some sort.

someone, maybe Kornhieser and Wilbon expounded on the perks that might be involved being a member of a team in Vegas. You know, like we have South Beach, Vegas has the Casino's and is also a Mecca for beautiful broads.

Bring a team to Toronto! I think the best thing for the NFL if there going to expand 2 teams or move a team is bring 1 to Canada we have so many NFL fans and we just need 1 team in Canada and it will get all the focus and attention.

I bet "all" casinos would be off limits to players,at least during the season of whatever sport they were playing.Could you imagine the ramifications of players hanging out in a casino.

Won't work. Other than people in Toronto, most of the rest of the country hates your crappy town.
Besides that, everyone up here already has teams they cheer for. They won't change just cuz Toronto gets a team. I know I wouldn't. In fact I would just have another team to hate.
