NFL overtime rules won't change

I prefer NCAA overtime rules honestly. I love the shoot out feel it has. Plus when it comes down to hte wire and the coach decides to go for 2 and hte win... can't beat it.

While I agree, both teams' offenses and defenses fought to get them to that overtime. Both sides of the ball on both teams should have a chance to decide the outcome.

I like the NCAA over time, but i don't think it would work in the professional leagues. Would you start drives at the 30 yard line? That's already a makeable FG for the pro kickers. But if you start with a normal kickoff, drives will take forever and the game will never finish. The problem with that is if you live in a certain market and are expecting to see a game, these long OT games will be interrupting the games in your market.
