Comment: The Chad Henne era got off to a good running start, but they might have trouble if asked to win games through the air. (Clayton)

Dolphins Rank: 19 (+2)

Comment: The Chad Henne era is upon us, and he's 1-0 as a starter. Will Sunday's rout of the Bills turn their season around?

Comment: Unlike their results against the Colts at home in Week 2, the Dolphins' ball-control offense paid dividends against the Bills and was just the kind of approach with which first-time starter Chad Henne could win. But if Miami hopes to make it two in a row at home against the Jets on Monday night, offensive coordinator Dan Henning needs to open it up a bit and let Henne have a bigger role in the game plan.

Comment: WHAT A SURPRISE: It's extremely odd for a losing, last-place team to lead the league in rushing. But partially due to coach Tony Sparano's ball-control approach, the Dolphins will remain sticklers for handoffs.
WHAT A LETDOWN: There have been a few after last-season's worst-to-first turnaround season, especially Chad Pennington's season-ending injury. The boomerang has flung back to worst for now in the AFC East.

Dolphins
Rank: 22 (+3)

Comment:The Dolphins really stuck it to the Bills in week four behind great performances from RBs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. QB Chad Henne did exactly what the Dolphins needed him to do in his first career start.

Dolphins Rank: 21 (+4)

Comment: Last week: 38-10 win vs. Buffalo. The Dolphins reached for Ted Ginn at No. 7 in the 2007 draft hoping for big plays, but they haven’t come. He’s touched the ball 246 times in three seasons and has seven touchdowns to show for it.

Dolphins Rank: 21 (-)

Comment: Miami has one of the better running games in the league and the defense is still solid. All they need to be competitive is for Chad Henne to limit the mistakes and not turn the ball over like he did against Buffalo.

Comment: The Dolphins shocked everybody on Sunday when they routed the Bills without Chad Pennington. Miami faces another tough test Monday night against the Jets

It may mean nothing...But still fun to see what "experts" around the country think of our team.

What's this guy talking about? I know he fumbled twice but he didn't turn the ball over!

LOL, I had to read this one twice and was wating for someone to bring it up.

I think what he is really trying to say is "Chad Henne needs to do like he did againat buffalo by limiting mistakes and not turn the ball over"

Poorly worded sentance.

Col Hard Football facts has HIS football facts wrong. We took Ginn with the 9th pick, not the 7th.

Thanks, I thought I was going crazy or missed something. I will say that a few of those 6 (i think) sacks were his fault for not getting the ball out. Even if the receivers aren't open, which I'm sure sometimes they weren't, he needs to figure out a way to do something safe besides getting sacked. I really liked what I saw from him against Buffalo. Please remember everyone, Buffalo gave the Patriots fits for 3.5 quarters!

21 sounds about right until win some close ones than we shall hit the teens

Just be gald we are not Denver.. I magine being 4-0 and being ranked where they are.

Reminds me a little bit about how we were looked at last year, though I think it is worse in their case.

21 is about right. We did only beat the Bills so cant really expect a whole lot more.

yeah, i like seeing the rankings myself. beat those stinkin Jets and we'll rise top 15 maybe. they'll start jumping on the wildcat bandwagon and talk about how Dirty Boy was thrown in too fast, etc.

One thing I have really liked about doing this thread over the years is that no matter how spread out our ranking can be accross the different site, when you average them out We seem to always fall right where we need to be.
