Expected or Not Expected???

Well, not good news for teams with sucky QBs (Henne). I read that the season could start in November and SuperBowl in Indianapolis Feb. 12. The league is looking to give teams five weeks before the season to sign free agents, hold training camps, and possibly play preseason games.

I know an 8-game season is better than nothing, but the NFL is starting to piss me off...

i would assume you'd hafta play each division rival at least once... but i dont see how the schedule could maintain its balance with only 8 games.
Teams off to a slow start would be toast, and inferior teams who manage a fast start can sneek in a division title.

I wouldn't even watch an eight-game season.

The NFL is ****ting on the players and pissing on the fans.

If they think season ticket sales are down now, just wait until they pull this bull crap

Well, let's hope they get something done in the next few weeks so we can avoid this. There was talk that significant progress was made that something might be done before July.

Where's the XFL when you need it?

The XFL should have came out this season... It might have actually had a chance....

Eight game season is better than nothing but with a new OC and playbook we would be well behind the curve regardless of our shortcomings at QB...

Hey don't knock it. Last time we had a shortened season, we went to the Super Bowl.

So, we can only lose 8 games. Hmm, maybe we're on to something here.

Let's hope they get something done. I'm sick of the lockout.

I love and crave NFL football but I'm not even sure it would be worth watching half a season. Could a team really be satisfied winning the Super Bowl on such a diminished season? It would be a cheapened accomplishment for sure.

And out of left field, what kind of fantasy season would there be?
