can someone please tell me when the nfl releases next years schedule?
 
I think right before the draft...preseason should be out by next week
 
Yeah it is usually around the time of the draft....we know the home and away teams we are playing we just don't have the dates yet. Hopefully we will get a Turkey Day game against Detroit?? :tongue:
 
The schedule comes out sfter the draft and now that NFL network has a turkey day game the Fins are probably not going to get one. They were supposed to play Detroit at 12:30 but that has changed

some preseason is out already........I saw on another site the opponents and dates for the Saints home preseason games. One was a nationally televised MNF game against the Cowboys.

We have always played the Saints, and since they didn't list us playing @ the Saints, I say we play them in Miami. That's my great prediction. Saints @ Miami in the preason....and it won't be the 3rd game (that's when they play the 'Boys).

Actually, do the season ticket holders already know the dates/opponents for the preseason? I read a coupe posts where people got their season tickets already??

1) Not sure that the NFL Network deal changes anything....it's been assumed that it could, but nothing is certain.

2) It was never decided that the Phins were definately going to play against Detroit.....it was either Buffalo OR Miami....but wasnt' decided upon.
 
Schedule will be released on Wed April 12. I am basing this on the fact that last year the schedule was released on Wed April 15th.
 
They release the scheduel after the owners meeting. I havent found out when that is for sure, but i know its coming up.
 
They will release the schedule sometime in April. It will definitely be out before the Draft.
 
It has been released anywhere between March 31st and April 15th, although last year when it was released on April 15th it had been delayed for some reason. Hopefully the first week of April so I can start making my game plans. Planning on coming down for 4 games this year.
 
do explain how the NFL network deal could screw up the Dolphins/Lions game.

I thought the only other feasible Turkey day opponent was the Jills, and certainly they'd want to feature at least on top tier team in that game!

There was an article at one point that said it used to be that the Dallas and Detroit would alternate AFC/NFC teams each year, but now that there is a 3rd game they may not keep with that format. Which means the Lions may not be playing an AFC team this year.
