NFL Thinking of getting rid of the kickoff

I dont think it will happen but thats great news for us. We havnt been able to find a frikin KR for years and our coverage units have been garbage (althought our STs werent too bad last year). What have we scored like 4 TDs on ST for the past 15 years???:crazy:

I would be furious if I was a Bears, Pats, Eagles, or Ravens fan. A team like the Bears win games with STs alone. You could argue the Bears went to the Superbowl based on great Defense and STs.

Wouldnt have to argue that. they for sure were in the super bowl cuz of defense and Hester.

I'm all for player safety but this would cross the line. You have to balance safety and the integrity of the game. This is like the stupid politicians that want to ban salt and sugar. You can only do so much without taking football out of football which gives you nothing. Gododell is smart enough to figure that out, hopefully.

Meanwhile they replace the salt/sugar with something even more dangerous, which of course 10 years later is known it's linking people to cancer or something.
