NFL Total Access AFC Predictions

What do you call Sheldon Richardson, Mo Wilkerson and a running game that has ran for a ton of yards the last three weeks vs. the Raiders, Panthers and Browns...all run defenses that are superior to the Fins at stopping the run?

I agree I'm nervous about this game as well. I just see Junc having a nice offseason of ribbing on here I wonder if we'll try to spin it :). On a positive note the Jets do not have the edge rushers that require the kind of attention that Mario Williams does so maybe it will not be as easy for them to get a strong rush on Ryan. Maybe we can just go man on man on their ends, no doubles or rolling protection like we did for Mario which was supposedly opening things up for everyone else and the Bills had other guys winning their man to man battles. We best stop the run. Maybe I'm seeing thing but I felt like the Bills tailbacks were running into crowds and popping out each time. Seemed like the line was holding up but there were no LB's/S's to make the tackle. Much like the first game we need to make Geno beat us. IMHO 8-8 is still a disappointing season but we did see some QB development which is a positive. We need to rebuild the O-line, find a #1 RB, a complete TE and new LB's in the offseason and we'll be much improved. For the TE comment I love Clay but I'd rather his role be mismatch maker and not #1 TE. Maybe I'm being greedy but I think we need a better blocker for that #1 TE spot and teams would have a tougher time game planning for Clay (which obviously they have over the last 2 weeks) if he were more of a piece we moved around while we already had a competent TE in the game (probably the original plan anyway).

Make no mistake guys if we lose I don't care what happens in the other games the JETS knocked us out of the playoffs. Lets not do to Junc what he does to us and come back with, "No not really they wouldn't have gotten in anyway". Many fans were annoyed with him saying that at the end of 2011 so we shouldn't do it either, but I guarantee we will :).

The team is SO CLOSE to making the playoffs. Take advantage and have no regrets. However, I am not convinced they will be "primed" for this contest.

It is inexcusable if that is the case. Who's fault is that?

/I put that on the coaching staff for the most part. The players are to blame somewhat but id say 70/30 on the coaching staff.

the odd thing is this d doesn't dominate bad qbs hell we play better against good ones...so with geno being god awful i dont know...but damn miami should play this one exactly like they played the first game vs the jets...make the qb beat them...stop the run

said same thing last week and we got like multiple 10 minute drives from trash like thad lewis so never say never...

i dont think you will see a tight football team either...i think they'll carry themselves like the qb does which is nothing ever gets to him...they'll come out ready to play and there wont be a damn weather factor to deal with effecting our passing game like last week...

We lost 19-0 to the Bills. How are any of you expecting a win?

Because the Jets in Miami is a totally different type of game and matchup then the Bills in Buffalo, where Miami always struggles?

Hoops is in here. Hoops, tell em about Ed Reed's corpse and what you and everyone else can plainly see on film..............

Didn't Ed Reed get benched already? He's been awful, absolutely awful this season.

reed should have hung em up after last year...he's embarrassed himself hanging on for another season...jets will run the wildcat read op and pistol even miami just has to play it like we did last time...i'm not really all that worried...fill gaps dont be late lbs WHEELER especially and roll protection to the interior rushers and muhammod wilkerson who shifts outside in the nickle...wilkersons sack impact has fallen off the last 6 games after coming out like hell on wheels...

they have a good front 3 and size on the edges but not win pass rushers on the edges...miami should not be rolling protection to one edge or the other...attack the corners specifically hartline on milliner who was flat torched in the last game by hartlines route running and get after the slot corner with rishard mathews who will have a big advantage vs a kyle wilson or one of those other smurf corners...

imo rishard mathews should have a big impact working vertical down the seam and towards the sideline...that's a win option for us that the jets are not gonna be able to compensate for with extra help with clay and wallace on the field

mathews would have done a lot more last week but we didn't have any damn time to let the routes develop

I am taking my son and nephews to the game so I hope like crazy we play hard and demolish them. Every game I take my kids to we have won so he is my good luck charm this week too!!!

I couldn't agree less with these clowns....the game will be tougher than last time we meet but the Jets will not be more motivated than the the Fins....it's crazy to think that, will they be motivated of course, will the game be tough? yes.....This team matches up better against the Jets than Bills...the only issue will be stopping the running game, if we can't stop it the game will come down to who has the ball last.....I like our WR vs their CB, I like our CB vs their WR, I like our pass rush vs there OL, our OL will do better against the 3-4 and we will have success running the ball....I see our D keeping them under 17 points and our O having a impressive 2 quarters which should be enough if we kick a couple of fg in the other 2 quarters....

we could roll with more 2 tight end sets if sherman is worried about the jets pass rush winning on the edges but i dont think that will be the case...our mismatch advantages this week will come in what we want to run and are strongest at...3 wr single back single tight end...that's our bread and butter...heavy impact win pass rush teams are effecting that ie the bills especially when they can get you in 3rd and long repeatedly and expose your protection but the jets dont have the personnel to do that

last week was a bad matchup for us...couple in the damn weather putting a serious kink in our passing game and yeah we gotr rolled...it wont happen like that this week...

they wont keep us behind the chains as much and the routes will have more time to develop...and by staying more in front of the chains they wont be able to use the exotic blitz packages and we can expose individual players with our skills guys

Make fun of me, but 11-5 is not a bad year for picks.

According to your picks, you expected us to be 4-11 right now.

Jets have a good line, but it isn't Buffalo's line. Also, we will dominate on defense again. We will win!
