NFL Total Access AFC Predictions

I don't believe the jets will automatically be motivated. I can easily see the rats jumping ship especially in the 2nd half.

That same crew were praising the fins last week. Nobody knows what's gonna happen. Nobody.

Yep, and the three previous weeks they all picked Miami to lose so whatever they think the opposite usually comes true. Darren Sharper even said the Jets would handily defeat Miami a few weeks ago.

It ticks me off that I agree with these guys. I think this is how it will play out.

It is such BS that the Jets will possibly be the more motivated team vs. the Dolphins. It happened last week vs. Buffalo and I think it happens this week again.

Then don't predict it that way. I don't give a **** about Rex Ryan, fins should get in. Chargers seemed to be the ones needing the most help. I still think it's going to be either the Fins or Ravens getting in.

the odd thing is this d doesn't dominate bad qbs hell we play better against good ones...so with geno being god awful i dont know...but damn miami should play this one exactly like they played the first game vs the jets...make the qb beat them...stop the run

said same thing last week and we got like multiple 10 minute drives from trash like thad lewis so never say never...

i dont think you will see a tight football team either...i think they'll carry themselves like the qb does which is nothing ever gets to him...they'll come out ready to play and there wont be a damn weather factor to deal with effecting our passing game like last week...

The Jets oddly came out firing in the first game I expect them to play it much closer to the vest this time around. I expect them to run a lot more throughout the game unless we get up and force them to throw.

2-13 because he lied about picking us over the Chargers and Jets.

Don't call me liar. I take the heat when I am wrong and don't gloat when I am right. Evidently, you can't open the links I sent you. Hard to argue with you when you ear what you want to hear.

I think the Jets players are done for this year and just might want to get home and enjoy life for a few months.

So just don't really see the Jets being as motivated as the Fins but of course the Fins aren't head coached by any great motivator to say the least.

I'll take great pleasure in sending out that POS loud mouth in NJ with a loss on his final day of attempting the HC position.

Real easy to answer. I said in this very thread when Pouncey was ruled OUT I backed off the idea they could win that game. If you want to count that as a STRIKE against me in picking games so be it. I could give a ****. Thanks for helping me make that point though that the Pouncey injury and replacement with Sam Brenner made me think the Fins would not win that game the day off.

Accuse me of being a lot of things, but I am not a liar or twist my takes.

It looked like a real possibility when hell was breaking loose with the line that they might not win very much, but AFTER the win against the Chargers....a quality win, it was very obvious they could over come some issues.

Quick question for hayden.... will geno or simms lead the jets to victory?

I am concerned about a rushing attack that has mauled the last three teams the Jets have played and the inability of the Fins to protect the passer.

Geno might not have to do much and after Thad Lewis got two wins, I am not putting anything by him.

Thread: Predictin: Matt Simms will win the game for his team

I do not want it to happen. I am routing against it. I am dying play to play. I want 6-6. This is not a bash Joe Philbin thread. It is a prediction.

Please...let me be wrong. Please.

However:

* the Fins have no killer instinct.

* they have left plays and points on the table

* the Fins have terrible play calling

* the Fins will not be able to adjust to Simms. Paralyses by analysis

* Plus, Simms will breath life into the Jets team

* Rex did a good job keeping his team in it to this point...

This might be the most frustrating game of the entire year. That is saying something.

I HOPE I am dead wrong.

The Jets oddly came out firing in the first game I expect them to play it much closer to the vest this time around. I expect them to run a lot more throughout the game unless we get up and force them to throw.

the jets came out firing? they had 28 pass attempts between 2 qbs....22 rushing attempts..

tannehill threw the ball 43 times and we had 36 rushing attempts.

I wouldn't say the jets "came out firing" by any means.

This too:

Let me answer some of these:

* I think the Dolphins have a lousy killer instinct. That has not changed.
* They left a **** LOAD of points and plays on the table in the 1st half vs. the Jets.
* I do not like Miami's play calling.
* I was WRONG and Kevin Coyle did a great job adjusting to the new QB.
* Simms did NOT breath life into the lifeless Jets.
* Rex DID do a great job keeping his team in the game as they were dominated, yet down only six points.

I do not back off what I said because some of it was right and others wrong.
