They were just wrapping up the show with the fact that there's a poll on nfl.com about who will win the AFCE. Rich Eisen asked both commentators who's going to win the AFC East. Marshall Faulk said DEFINITELY the Miami Dolphins and Rob Woodson replied "I agree - I like the Dolphins to win it too."

Seems we have some real credibility now! I can't wait to see Culpepper get his first roll on as a Dolphin!

Good to see that.

BTW, I'm loving the sig.

mornin' Mary!!...I dunno about all the love...I think I liked it better when no one but us believed. None the less, despite the hype, I think we will earn our way into them as soon as the season starts. I foresee some problems with all the new defensive guys to get up to speed, but by mid season we should be dominating. It will be interesting...and sad, when we lose a couple and all the doom and gloomers come out of the woodwork again.

Morning Marty! I know what you're saying. It just felt so good to hear that from media people who are usually just trashing the team.

I agree, AND it is fun when one of the posters finds some old slams that show them with egg on their faces.

I think it's partly due to our upgrades at QB and the coaching staff, but also the decline of the Pats.
While I wouldn't write them off just yet, they don't exactly look like worldbeaters on paper.
They were always a team whose sum was greater than all of it's parts and some of the heart and soul was taken from that team with the departure of Willie McGinest. The loss of Vinatieri is significant as well. In fact, without AV I think the Pats lose one of the SB's (a la Scott Norwood).
As it stands now they have more questions in their secondary than we do and their LB's are getting old without much depth.
They also have questions at WR.
It's funny how this game is. Had the Bills beaten the Giants (which they should have) I think the opinion of that team would be much different.

Well the tide has definatly shifted to where alot of "experts" are picking us to win the AFC (except for the boys in Bristol who still have their heads up Bradys bum). This is the kind of attention you will see when you make good moves, have a good system, and a coach with the skills.

I do not like that show much, because it is mostly about the same players and teams. Remember when they went for maybe a month just talking about Bush? Talk about overkill. I like Salisbury on the show though - sometimes. lol. Trey Wingo is ok. Golic looks like he could be a janitor.

Good to hear some folks like our chances.

Marshall Faulk is already working for them? Or was he just a guest? I knew he was hurt this year and heard he might retire. Man he was a beast on the field

That would be an awesome stride forward for this team. The next few years are going to be very interesting for us. This team is on the edge of a major youth movement. Through the draft, he will build our team to be a challenger for years to come.

I like hearing the props, but actually prefer being the dark horse. Makes it easier to sneak up on teams.
