In a matchup between two of the six AFC teams that have a 7-5 record, the Ravens will try to bounce back from their 34-33 loss to the San Diego Chargers when they face the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium Dec. 7.
Injuries have ravaged the Ravens' secondary to the extent that Baltimore's pass defense has allowed 273.9 passing yards per game, a mark that ranks the Ravens 31st in the NFL. While the Ravens have struggled defending against the pass, they have been stingy against the run. Baltimore is allowing 86.3 rushing yards per game, and has given up seven rushing touchdowns this season.
The Ravens will face one of the NFL's toughest defenses during Week 14. Miami is allowing 316.8 total yards per game, sixth in the league. The Dolphins are second in the NFL against the pass, allowing 198.2 passing yards per game.
If the Ravens are going to win, they are going to have to rely on their running game. Led by Justin Forsett, Baltimore ranks fifth in rushing, averaging 131.8 yards per game.
During the last three games, Forsett has run for 399 yards on 66 carries with four touchdowns.

Outlook: The Ravens have their backs against the wall due to the tight AFC playoff situation. One of the most resilient teams in the league, they should respond. Baltimore is 3-1 after a loss this season and has won 13-of-19 games after a loss since 2011. If the Ravens can control the game with their running attack, they should be able to escape Miami with a win.
Prediction: Ravens 28, Dolphins 24
