NFLDC mock draft updated 4/11/08

Thats not updated, or at least not round 2. We still have all the same picks and Heath Benedict is still listed.

Try reading it again, especially at the top of the home page where it says "updated April 11, 2008". Also look to the left of the home page and you'll see an update about Heath Benedict's unfortunate passing.

A mock draft being updated doesn't necessarily mean that the author is going to change our picks- I don't remember who he had going to us in round 2 in his last mock draft.
 
I dont think Round 1 has been updated.

Reason

Bills Take DRC
and then come back in round 2 and take King (another CB) even they would never make a mock that bad.

Look at the Packers 2nd round pick, #60. They have them selecting Benedict. Maybe they just updated the first round or rankings.

I just looked at it again- he has Oniel Cousins going to Green Bay at #60. Maybe somehow you're looking at the last version of the mock.

At least 2 of you are seeing something different. Try googling nfldc, then go to the mock, it should get you the refreshed version. I'm not sure why my link would get you the old mock.

Still no good. It has todays date on the site but no updated mock. Wonder what the deal is :ponder:

Could you please tell me who they have Miami taking?
 
The one I am seeing has you all taking

Jake Long

and Curtis Lofton 2a

Charles Godfrey 2b



But again this is the same one that has the Bills taking 2 CBs
so I am not sure how updated it is.

There is no way the Bills go Cb and CB
 
this guy is right...miami already has a lot of guys who can play rush outside linebacker

Can't they find 4-5 to make the team out of:

Jason Taylor
Joey Porter
Charlie Anderson
Quentin Moses
Abraham Wright
Rob Ninkovich
Junior Glymph


I don't think its even close to as big a need as Offensive Line, Cornerback, Quarterback, Tight End, Receiver in that order

Other than Porter, Taylor, and maybe Moses, we have nobody. Both of them are over 30yrs old and JT may be traded or even decide to retire when the season is over. Plus you can't under estimate the power of good depth and giving your picks time to develop.
Anderson will most likely only play ILB and the other three are longshots to make any team. Thats why the Dolphins have been meeting so much with guys like Quentin Groves and Lawrence Jackson. We may not draft one on the first day, but we will draft one.
 
It has the Bills taking WR Devin Thomas for me.

Although it has the Eagles taking DRC in round 1?? How many CB's do the eagles need, Brown, Sheppard, Samuels and DRC??

Don't sell short Abe Wright. There was a lot of buzz about him and his pass rushing abilities during TC and pre season last year, I have high hopes for him this year. The need at OT just overwhelms any need at OLB or DE, and the Jake Long LT/RT debate is beat at this point. I want to plug him in at LT and see what happens. He's going to smash some people.
