I think Keke Mingo would mostly be viewed as a pass rush specialist a la Bruce Irvin in Seattle.
You really have to admire the Seahawks' thinking outside the box with respect to Bruce Irvin in the 1st round. Had the potential to be disastrous from an attitude standpoint, and I don't know if he'll EVER be a full time player because of his frame and lack of stamina, but the dude has 10 sacks, 10 hits on QB, and 18 pressures on 294 pass rush opportunities. They stick him in the game on passing downs and he's a player you actually have to fear. He was one of the few that you could actually say that about in this NFL Draft. I remember doing a podcast show where they asked if you had one down where you absolutely needed a pass rush to prevent losing a game, who would you take. The answer for me and for everyone else was easy, Bruce Irvin. But all the extraneous stuff like attitude, arrest history, stamina...scared a lot of us off the idea of him in the 1st round. Not the Seahawks though, and they're reaping the benefits. Fortune favors the bold.
