Saw this a few minutes ago, what do you guys think of this if he does indeed fall that far down the draft?

By the way, first post :). I visit finheaven daily, but have never come around to making an actual account.

I am a little more worried about his work ethic/attitude than I am about his 40 time. He showed up at USC against good corners, so I think he has it in him to be good at the next level. If he doesn't want to work, well then he would be like Mike Williams.

heck yeah in the second round i would take him and i dont think he will be a bust but he is worth the gamble in the second round because he can be a stud in the nfl the guy catches anything thrown to him in college

despite the mike williams comparisons, ive also read comparisons to reggie wayne. since they are 2 guys who had amazing college careers and whos stock dropped around draft time. i guess we will have to wait and see.

I'm good with that but I don't see it happening. Too many teams in middle/late first round really need wr's. Time will tell.

depending on our 1st round pick, I would consider Jarrett . . . not if Rice is on the board tho.

I'd be thrilled with Jarrett. Unlike M. Williams Jarret hasn't sat out an entire year (I think this is easily overlooked on MW). Although Jarrett doesn't have the speed he'd be a great #2, we could then still add a burner in the later rounds, maybe even take a shot at Roy Hall from OSU (4.38-4.4 40? 230lber - see OSU pro day)

Welcome to Finheaven!
I would take him in a NY second in the 2nd Rd. In the red zone this guy will create a lot of disadvantages due to his height.

im still driving the robert meachum bandwagon
sorry my man, meachum will be gone in the top 20 picks or so, excellent hands, great size, good speed, he is looking to be the 2-4 WR off the board.

I like the Jarrett pick if we could get him, this guy can catch anything (and when i mean anything look at the game against I think Nebraska last year, first quarter he catches a first down on the sideline with his index finger!!!). He will never be that speed guy but could be one hell of a possession reciever.

Can't see that actually happening, but then again anything is possible, we did get three potential 1st rounder 2 years ago, so good talent does fall, and because of his workout, and comparison to Mike Williams, it may happen.

He's the perfect Redzone receiver to have, and I would take him in a heartbeat.

First, welcome to FinHeaven. As you have seen, it gets quite interesting around here.

Secondly, Jarrett falling to us in the 2nd will depend on what Oakland does in the first. If Oakland goes Russell in the 1st, you can look for Lane Kiffin to go for Jarrett in the 2nd, if he's there. Kiffin coached Jarrett at USC and knows what he can do.
