What I don't understand about that article is the following statement:
So the knock on Miami is they haven't beaten many good teams. Here are the teams ahead of them in the playoff standings:
Oakland - 4 wins vs. .500 or better
New England - 3 wins vs .500 or better
Baltimore - 2 wins vs .500 or better
Houston - 3 wins vs .500 or better
Kansas City - 3 wins vs .500 or better
Miami - 2 wins vs. 500 or better
Baltimore alone has played Cleveland twice and Jacksonville. That's a combined 2-31 record.
Also, can't go with how the team looks now, how was that team playing when Miami beat them...
1. The Steelers were on a winning streak, and looking like of the the best teams in the AFC.
2. The Bills were on a winning streak, and looked like a playoff team.
3. The Jets were on a small winning streak.
4. The Chargers had a 3-1 record at home and had scored 43 on Titans in prior game
5. Beat a Rams team with one of the best d-line, with injuries in their O-line, and starting a hugely motivated Rookie QB.
6. Played a Kaepernick lead team where in the last 3 games game he started, he had QB ratings of.. 102, 89, and 97.
The 49ers game should not have been that close, but Miami is still learning how to actually close games, but when they do, there will then be no doubt if Miami is for real or not.
