I doubt the Texans formations will dictate what Wake does, but, we do a lot of bootleg type stuff once we break off a few runs, which is what I think the NFLN analysts were more referring to. At that point it will be up to Wake to decide if he`s chasing a runner or still going after the QB.
And as far as formations go, the Texans are going to motion their backfield a lot more than what the Pats did I can garuntee that. Mostly it`s probably going to come from James Casey motioning to the inside and running routes on PA plays, and he`s got some good hands and good route running skills. As far as a lot of the talk about how the Texans don`t have the TE`s that NE does, that`s debateable honestly. Owen Daniels can be killer if he`s back to his old healthy self, and Joel Dreesen filled in nicely while Daniels was out with his ACL problem in 2009 and his recovery in 2010. Those two guys, plus James Casey (Who has played TE at the NFL level before) might mean that you see some sets that turn into 3-TE sets by the time the ball is snapped.
