NFLPA and NFL soon are expected to agree to new protocols

Everyone on every team better be happy.

Pretty much what I expected. I'm actually surprised there was a meeting of the minds so quickly, but I'm sure the NFL wanted to "stop the bleeding" as it pertains to the media coverage.

The word "instability" has to have at least some clear definition, though. I guess no matter what, it ends up being subjective to some extent.

And who decides what constitutes instability? And what if that instability is caused by a sprained ankle that the player gets taped? Can opposing coaches claim they saw instability from the other team's QB and trigger something to get that QB thrown out of the game?
Yeah, was thinking something similar

Not to mention this will incentivize defenses to go for headshots. If they can get star players thrown out of the game over some wobbles it would be worth a 15 yard penalty. And apparently they can suplex players and slam them on their heads and not draw any penalty based on what we saw in Cincinnati.

Guy in the review room deciding if it was instability. What go go wrong?

This is admitting that following the protocol doesn’t always work and puts the safety of players above any chance of continuing to play that game.

I’m fine with that but not sure why the independent neurologist got fired then they nuke the protocol process?
