At the end of the half the Dolphin's wr mathews have hit with a head to head shot in the end zone. Ok so we may not get in the end zone, but the Panthers don't get a FG. Chances are we score a td too, that is a 7 point swing. The refs had the right call to start. The last minutes of the 4th quarter Cam Newton runs for a first down and falls down, because of the different surface on the sidelines not a push by any defenders. The call changed the way the Panthers and Dolphins looked at the end of the game. The Panthers are now in fg range and want to kill the clock and try to score a td. The Dolphins want to save the clock and hold them for a td. The Panther wouldn't have been in fg range and would have keep passing the ball. Both teams played a great game. I just wanted the game to be decided by the teams not the refs. I just can't get over it. The dolphins had their chances but the refs also took away the chance to keep them out of fg range.

What really changed the panthers from trying for a fg was the timeouts the DOLPHINS!!!!!! Used to help them have time for a td

You dont touch the qb when he is going out of bounds...i dont care about the surface...your players need to know the basics of modern football...

The NFL has long decided to take a hand in games via the ref's. Look at the NE Denver game last night. In the second half the NE receivers ran full hard pick plays and were not called once for this. In the last drive Denver was called for doing what NE had been doing all second half. The NFL has the favored big market teams on a pedestal so that they can get the maximum result for the commercial dollar, and smaller market team have to be good enough to overcome both the other team AND the ref's in order to win. Remember the Pitt - Mia. game from 2-3 years ago when Raplesbuger fumbled at the goal line? How about any recent game with NE lately? You know the phantom pass interference calls, or the Miami OL is the only one that commits holding (ask Cam Wake about this one as he gets held on every play!) Pro football has become Pro Wrestling in disguise.

Totally wrong. The refs were going to let cackylacky score no matter what and we needed time to try to drive the ball one more time.

Remember Holmgren letting Denver score in the SUPER BOWL so they wouldn't run out the whole clock on him?

How about the offense score some points and not blame the refs.

Did you even see the play? That call was comical, the players did everything the humanly could to pull up, and since they were in proximity when Cam slipped, we got screwed...it was a BS call, and that's why the NFL should make these calls reviewable! It happened to the Bucs is week 1, Geno got tapped

I don't think the Panthers fan saw the play. The Dolphins play I think Reshad Jones, tried to hold him up thats the only contact made. I think Miami might have a top 5 D but you can see the team just loss confidence when the refs blow suck a huge call. It was the same way in the Bills game this year, but that wasn't the refs it was our terrible offense.

Yep. Blaming the refs is just part of the loser mentality.
It's interesting how much we hear about how the NFL wants NE to win games so they have the refs call games unfairly. Yet when a call went against NE at the end of the Carolina game last week, no one here said anything.

I honestly feel the same way about blaming refs, but the teams in the NFL are so close that one call changes the game. Look at all the 4-6 teams they aren't that far from NE or the Colts really. It comes down to all these close games, so yes when you watch a game and are on the edge of your seat the whole game and it comes down to two really bad calls, it is very hard for me to get over that.

Cam Newton flopped out of bounds. It was clear. And he had a huge crap-eating grin on his face that could have lit up the night sky. He knew he pulled a fast one

The media went nuts because that non-call made their darlings lose the game. Report after report they were getting after the refs for picking up a flag. A flag that was thrown against the Patriots.

Where is the uproar now that the ref picked up the flag that would have went in the Dolphins favor? There is none. Of course not.

Because Brady way underthrew the ball...Tannehill hit Mathews in the hands and took a hit to the head....see the diffence bro

That lack of call at the end of the half was inexcusable given the back judges position, he was right there. Ultimately, that was a huge call or non call in the game.

Still, the offense had three chances to win the game, the d had a 4th and 10 that somehow a timeout wasn't used before....we cost ourselves the game, much like we did against New England, buffalo, Tampa bay,l and Baltimore. Team could easily be in firm grasp of a playoff spot but we can't execute, close or make the proper adjustments.
